The art is beautiful, and the writing is inspiring. It's amazing how reading snippets of dialogue and memories feels like enough to fill a whole setting. It feels a bit like a thriving, green, hopeful post apocalypse.

I was tired of reincarnation spell results lists that had all the basic, boring, core races, and decided to make something a little more fun. This list provides 100 reincarnation options, with equal likelihood of getting the cool, unique results as the more boring results. However, even the boring results have been modified to make them more interesting. If someone is going to choose the cheapest option for resurrections, they're going to have to take a real risk!

It's here on itch! I made a supplement for it myself.

You Are Here

This is such a fun supplement! I'm going to use it the next time I run You Are Here by Mean Green Press. Each one of these drinks inspires me to build a deep background. I love it.

This is an evocative, frightening, difficult game and I can't wait to play it over and over. Well done.

The sound in this is incredible.

Really fun little game!

I still intend to bundle the submissions, but will likely price it at $4 instead of $10, since we only got 4 games. Let me know if anyone doesn't want to be included.

There are still some community copies left to grab! You can find them on my game page, just keep scrolling down: https://knock-thrice.itch.io/animal-island-village

This fits the theme perfectly! Well done!

A wonderful romp through the jungle...

This is so much fun!

This game is so great, so glad I got a physical copy. It would be nice to have some printable playbooks that aren't so heavy on the black ink though.

7/10

Loved this, really great concept especially with the popularity of Roll for Sandwich on TikTok. Great little game.

An excellent solo game, my salad was delicious. I'm strangely hungry for more... Ravenous even. Well done

An extremely fun tool for quickly generating interesting superpowered people. My first creation was The Motor Monk, a man blessed by hyper-technologically advanced aliens to wield the power to transform into any vehicle, though he must use it sparingly or be stripped of his power. Can't wait to use this chart in my games!

So many of these are brilliant! I love how some I can just play by myself in my head (Algorithmic Love). I really want some people to play Storysmiths with me!

Please let me know if you're in this jam and you didn't get a free copy of my game. I intend there to be free copies for everyone here!

My game is up! Feel free to grab a community copy and let me know what you think.

I have all the content written, and am mostly done with layout! I probably just need a couple extra sets of eyes on it, and it'll be good to go!

Finally got this jam on the calendar! Hopefully we get even more people joining us...

Absolutely love this concept, I'm going to run this with some friends tonight. My only question is, from the Encore, what does it mean to "take opportunities to facilitate the bad end"?

How are people feeling about their games so far? I've got most the content written and will just need to move onto layout (which I expect will take a while). Would love to hear what people are working on.

You should check out this jam! Fakeout Jam is for TTRPGs that start as one kind of game, but turn into something else. It might be something that switches genres, or something that switches how you play it.

Some examples:

  • Comedy that becomes romance
  • Unreliable memory
  • Military that becomes sci-fi
  • Solo game that suddenly requires other players
  • Time jumps

Come join us!

Absolutely excellent game. Loved it.

Some more ideas for ways that games could change partway through:

  • A romance/dating game that turns into a natural disaster survival game
  • A silly kids game that begins to deal with global political issues
  • Superhero game that ends up being a gameshow

This is really fun! Such a little image can spark so much inspiration.

A really novel idea! I was not thrilled with my rolls at first and wasn't sure I was starting right, but then really opened up and started playing around. It's a very fun way to throw together poems.

This was such a simple game but really had me slowing down to think and appreciate the time I was taking, and the images I was conjuring. It is such a special little thing, and I feel like the minimalist style, with the pretty art felt very full. Thank you for this

This is a great game, the prompts are really creative and helps walk you through a very interesting experience. Highly recommend it.

Love these masks. Very creative magic items, and great NPCs to go along with it. Highly recommend this supplement!

Oh my gosh, that is beautiful! Excited to try your game!

This game is so cozy and peaceful! I've not played a lot of solo journaling games, but this one I occasionally leave open on my work computer and play between projects. It's so easy to get into, and easy to play with entirely digital tools. I love this game and recommend it to everyone.

This game is so cool! Do you have any idea when physical copies will be available??

I can't wait to play this. One question, are the choices for the pillars made once for the game? Or do you make the choices anew each time that pillar is used?
