The problem was fixed by changing the sprite's canvas to a square. Thank you for the quick response!

Although upon first glance, the cursors look perfect, in recordings they appear quite wide - maybe 1.5 times as wide.

Thank you! Sorry to hear you had trouble understanding the game. There aren't many mechanics as of the jam's state of the game; you can capture monsters by clicking on them with the mouse, and they're sent back to your ranch. Interacting with the magical book at the ranch will show you the shop, where you can unlock new areas and get familiars. New mechanics will be coming in updates soon :)

This game is so fun and has a super cute style, totally fits with the gameplay. Had to cheese my way through some levels, but overall had a good experience.

Such a cute & fun little platformer! The wall-jumping conflicting with double-jumping can be a little confusing, but other than that the mechanics are great.
