its actually possible to install the game in desktop mode, along with an emulator so you can run the game (works for termina as well)

On another note, the second Installment of fear and hunger really improved on everything the first game did, be it adding little animation for passive abilities like sprint or the improved animations of the combat sprite. Tho i do find it a bit unfortunate that some of the playable characters (mostly pav and caligura) have so little interaction with the others.
The game you want for some free phobias. Jokes aside i probably put more than a hundred hours into the game and im still finding new things. Tho I have to say that this game might not be up to everyones taste (the warning info is there for a good reason lol), it fits such a unique niche in this genre. The one big issue i do have with the game is how unstable it unfortunately runs on the steam deck (15 or less fps).
