Yeah, I'm playing on the hardest mode, and it's still too easy. Maybe bosses should be 2-3 times harder than they are to achieve balance, or cards should be available mainly from tougher opponents rather than easier ones.

Will every future update require starting game from beginning?

In the store, you have items with random stats and level requirements, and occasionally there's an item with additional abilities (like stat points and extra mechanics like magic and random stuff, but in your game, stat points already exist because there's no damage range, which would also be interesting, for example, from 50 to 129 instead of the default strength on item system).
