I spotted that too! It's so well made and instantly recognisable - I love it. FWIW it's CC0 so not "stolen" but licensed. First boss is the "juggernaut" from Abuse from Crack DOT Com too :D (again CC0).

Just thought I'd let you know that this seems to run fine in wine on Linux, except the intro which is a bit stuttery. I did play through the entire demo however without issue. I had fun - I'll certainly consider purchasing. Congratulations on the launch.

One thing I wanted to point out - I noticed you've used a bitly link for the QR code. Your URL isn't that long so you could just use it for the QR code and then you wouldn't be dependent on a 3rd party (much better IMHO).

Lastly, your Steam link above is broken (appears to to go a t DOT co domain).
