After a certain amount of time or tiles traveled (dont know which or how much) the empty tiles (and possibly every other tile) refreshes. So yes.

If you don't want to use cheat mode (where you can get bad ends and still keep playing) to unlock the skin you can edit your save by searching for "jobClass" and changing it to "QUEEN". Those are the 2 ways I can think of at the top of my head to unlock the skin.

I have no idea what suddenly made it proc but I managed to get what I was after.

I've wondered since I first started playing how to steal stuff, more specifically how to steal and get caught. But every time I try to steal it fails and it just says "They're watching you too closely"
