It's not possible to remove the option without making early access unavailable to my supporters. I'll make an effort to ensure that the message is more clear.
Thanks for the feedback! I have a message at the top of the description that the game is still in development. what would you suggest I add to help prevent future unintended purchases?
Thank you! The image not found error is a known issue. The demo is currently the most up to date version of the game and should be more stable than the other releases at present. I'll be updating the game with a slightly newer build this Saturday and planning to updated every Saturday as development progresses!

That's very frustrating. I'm sorry that it's giving you so much trouble. I'm unsure how to troubleshoot on this particular issue, but if you find a solution, please share it here in case someone else has similar issues in the future.
