I don't like your "surprises"!
I also died in the last battle. Overall - interesting concept, I gladly will play this game with better graphics and more choices :)

Pew-pew.

Nice idea, has pretty visuals, and feels like a complete game. Very cool!

Very neat game. A little bit slow-paced but base x2-x5 speedup button can fix it easily :)
Love it.

Interesting game and for some reason I found the graphics very cool.

Thanks!

I tried, without any result. Same whirpool.

Thanks. I have some plans for this prototype.
I had a late start, so haven't completed even a fraction of my ambitions =)

Awesome bear physics!

It would be 5/5 if it had a train instead of a cart.

The cutest game at this jam.

TRAINZ

Very old-school.

Cool artstyle!

Nice concept and idea, it can grow up into the full-pledged game!

OK, for some reason it's my favorite game so far. Only one question: how to switch weapons? O_o

Another complete game :) Worth 1st place.
Really like your shadows and kudos for using SDL3. I personally didn't find time/strength to study it properly.

Nice and fun game! Feels complete, a pretty good art style.

Very polished gameplay, and nice controls. I'm not a fan of that kind of graphic, but in this case it looks awesome.

But ship controls are supposed to be clunky! It’s a low level cargo ship!

Thanks for review :) glad you liked it. I have plan to extend this prototype to a bigger game.

Nice tower defence, I'd play a full version with cards.

(1 edit)

Very nice game, which even cames with a working in-game manual/quest! I'm impressed.

Very cool you have made a complete working game in 7 days.
Althought it's obv 5* from me, some points:
1. UI is the thing you can work on :)
2. Road tool could be enhanced
3. I needed to write something bad as a critique, so - pallete is far from ideal, too bright and not enough contrast :P

Hey. In the "manual" you can read that there's a map and you can jump between systems :)
About seed - almost all things are randomly generated, without a fixed seed. For now, I will change it and make a more "stable" world later, after a jam.
The star map isn't generated, and the base prices. Also, all prices depend on planet types and neighbor planets.

Thanks for the feedback!

yep, started late, and was too consumed by shaders :)

Thanks!

Controls:
A - left
D - right
SPACE - shoot a character in space, or Jump sometimes (depends on luck)
R - change characters
P - pause music because it's annoying

To open gates, both characters should simultaneously stay at the triggers (triangles) of corresponding colors.

I hope you managed to collect your eyes and put them back! :)

Thanks for your kind words!

About sounds, you didn't miss a lot, this time I made all sounds and music myself, and I'm not very good at it :)

Wow. It's the most beautiful game on this jam (among games I have already played).

Also, it's pretty funny!

OK it's a most crazy game on the jam.

Very nice gameplay and idea! I think this game could be even developed into full-pledged steam game :)  Like add different shields, movements etc.

Read three pages and zero cats. Disappointed.
Well-written, easy to read and even to understand (sometimes). I like it a lot.
