this is awesome!

yes sounds good, I just want people to work on a game jam with. Do you want to talk via some messenger?

ok just sent a friend request to you

yes same username, send me an invite!

Hey I sent all you guys a friend connect just now

alright let's connect. As soon as I dig out my old discord account :P cause I rarely use it

Yay, how do we connect? Some messenger?

Definitely would like to work in a team but idk if I am super interested in a dating sim :P it's not exactly "my genre" ... do you maybe have a link or a screenshot you can post here?
Or we can just chat somewhere, what messenger do you use?

Yes I don't really use discord that much but I'll add you guys later!

ok send me your info

I don't really care too much. Do you have any preference? I feel like with these small prototypes it doesn't matter much what platform as long as it doesn't need a ton of setup

Sure thing! Wanna do a videochat some time? I think the 1 bit thing is an awesome constraint

Hey, I want to participate but not by myself

Been programming and drawing and all that forever, so I kind of know every part of game making but am not super experienced in game making.

Engine / specifics I don't really care, it's about fun

Anyone?

I'd have an idea already of a topdown mystery adventure game but that's not a must.

Engine I don't really care, I think the smaller the "engine" the better for a game jam but of course if you want 3D it's easier to start with Unreal / Unity

Will do! The file you sent doesn't work but once I got it, I'll link it!

yes if that's ok for you!

what did you make this in? An engine or some graphics framework?

Awesome :) can you send me the web version? I'm sure there's a way to "rip" it from itch.io but I'd rather do it the easy way. Here's my unofficial mail
 johnstamossteamy91@gmail.com
And then I will answer you from my real email (just so it's not on display here)

aaah ok ... what's the playtime on NecroArcher going to be like? More than 2 hours?

Yes I didn't want to use my personal account for it. It's not Netflix, I can tell you that. We are working on a platform to launch short, fresh games like many you would find here or at game jams.

The idea being that gamers want something fresh but not necessarily invest a lot of time at first. If your game is popular with users you can extend it, create sequels etc...

So basically it's a more curated version of itch.io which will be paid and really (really!) small game devs can make money with their prototypes and small games

ah ok, yes the tutorial took a bit long so I didn't continue past the first test enemies

Ok that's cool! do you still have the original files? I don't think I would be able to download it from there

the style is so cool but the start just feels random. What is this game about? What am I supposed to do?

so the bullets only do damage during the "recull"? It's fun to play but I don't get the mechanic

awesome music and feel! Level feels a bit repetitive but mechaincs themselves awesome

nice, a bit hard in the beginning. Do you want to be featured on our new indie game platform?

Oh that's too bad... well we would probably need a web version for it. It will be a big place for short indie games for people who want to play something fresh :) but not necessarily dump 40 hours into a new game

Hey this is such a cool twist on the platformer! Are you going to continue this anytime?

Very fun! We are building a platform for short and original games like this, would you be interested in being featured?

This is one very cool game. Arkanoid but definitely not Arkanoid. Would you be interested in being featured on our upcoming platform? We are looking for small, fresh games for a new type of game platform.

really original and well executed. We are looking for small games like this to feature on our new platform, let me know if you're interested!

the game starts out strong and the mechanics are great but control is so laggy and the graphics are tiny / hard to reconigze

Hey I like the atmosphere but after collecting 10 orbs for the second time, it doesn't feel like the game progresses. What's the deal?

it looks cool! Actually that would probably already be too big of a game but Winterblood has more of the conciseness we're looking for... if you would want to be featured let me know :)

Hey I love it! Very GTA2 / Hotline Miami. We are currently looking for small scope and indie but certified fresh games like yours to be featured on our up-and-coming platform. Do you have any published games?
