Hey all! I've just published Eikas, a community kitchen simulator.
It's an interactive fiction game where you play a community chef, working at a canteen in a small corner of a strange world. It recently placed 5th in the 30th Annual Interactive Fiction Competition and I'm really excited to share it with the wider world.

Really hope you enjoy!
No worries! To be honest I'm not an expert on the technical details myself, but I think it's a bit like how your search history is saved by whatever browser you're using (like Chrome, Safari, etc.)? I'd recommend downloading the .html file and opening it directly instead of opening through the itch.io page. Hope that helps!
Sorry you're having issues saving the game! When you save from the main menu screen that data should save to the cache of whatever browser you’re using - I'd recommend downloading onto desktop and opening in Chrome for the most reliable results (I know Twine doesn't work great in some browsers such as Safari)
Hey there, just posting to let you know about my new interactive fiction game 'No One Else Is Doing This', a workplace sim based on my experience doorknocking for a community organisation. It's very short (around 15 minutes), and gained the second-highest number of votes in this year's IFcomp, placing 26th overall. Hope you enjoy!
Summary:
You are a community organiser. This is your job, four nights out of five; you sell people hope on their doorsteps.
But your passion for the work is waning, and you're struggling to hit your targets. Can you recruit enough members before the end of your shift? Or will your fallible human body get the better of you?
A short workplace simulator about knocking doors, slacking off, and falling out of love with a movement.

Ataraxia is a text-based neighbourhood simulator inspired by folk horror, mystery and landscape narratives.
Explore unique regions. Build relationships with NPCs. Uncover long-forgotten secrets. Grow fruit. Have strange visions in the woods. Adopt a cat.
Average playthrough times range from 2 to 8 hours depending on reading speed (usually around 5). Available in browser or as a free or pay-as-you-feel download.
Thank you for taking the time to check it out!
