some of my favorite art I encounter is stuff that points me to other works to investigate, and this is among that category. it's surprisingly disarming, and quietly spooky in a way I quite enjoy. I found myself turned around a few times when looking around the rooms and ended up going the wrong direction, but I think it contributed to the overall vibe and was similar to a beat in the original short, which I watched after playing this. I guess I didn't know it, but I was familiar with a frame from the original short, it's used as the album art for R Plus Seven by Oneohtrix Point Never. Because I've been pointed to the original short through this, now I get to consider 3 works in conversation with each other, where before all I had was an album I like, and I really appreciate that.

Grabbing "Those We Discarded"!! :^)

looking forward to playing this with my group some time soon!

This is a really clever idea, would be really fun in an in-person workplace setting post-covid.
