Hey there!

I am offering my services as a translator to localise your game into the language of croissants and baguettes (only from English to French)! I have now more than one year of professional experience (and even more with student & volunter work, some of which came from here), and right now I am looking to help indie devs while building my portfollio with new projects. The only thing I am asking for is to be credited for my work (visibility is a pretty big thing for us translators haha).

I can work on short and long term projects, but do keep in mind that my professional contracts will be on top of my to-do list. That being said, once I'm engaged on a project, I always see to it until the end, so outside of urgency, no worries. As for the type of project, it can be anything related to video games, from the simple update in your Steam (or other shops) page to a complete localisation of your game. Same goes for the genre, I can even work on NSFW games.

So, if you're interested or would like to ask questions, you can reach me in here, through my dms or on discord @moulinlemalandrin.

Peace and croissants!

Hi! Contacted you on Discord.

Hello itch.io!

I’m a gamer with a knack for turning English game vibes into French magic, recently turned freelance translator. I might not be a seasoned pro, but I have my fair amount of student projects (with some games from this very community), and now I'm all in to translate your game into the language of baguettes and berets.

As video game localisation is my job, I’d expect to be paid for my work and time. However, since this is the indie world and not every project is big and lucrative, I’m willing to discuss that aspect depending on my workload at the moment. Plus, it can help me progress and improve my portfolio. So, ask away even if you don’t have the money, we might come to an agreement benefiting us both.

If you're down to infuse some French flair into your game, please contact me here or via direct message to introduce your project (and then we’ll switch to other means of communication if need be).

Peace and croissants,

LeMalandrin.

Hey!

I represent a group of translation students currently on a project in which we go out and find translation work, and we'd like to translate your game in French. If you're interested, would it be possible to speak privately? If you prefer to talk via Twitter, I'd be happy to exchange there.

We love your work and we'd be superhyped to work with you!

PS: as it's a student project, we'd do it for free.

Hi,

Sorry to barge in here but I don't know any other way to contact developers directly.
