The update process is handled by the game engine. I'm pretty sure resuming an update is not possible.

I'll take a look to check if I can tweak the engine.

Short answer is no.

Due to technical limitations, we had to move to the downloader implementation.

The update's infrastructure is only available on the EU servers right now. 

We're actively working on the US servers to allow updates on theses server and mitigate the slow update process.

Here's what you can try.
In your browser, login to the EU portal with your itchio credentials.
If you're not able to login, then there's an issue on our side

Then launch the downloader and go through the authentication process, 
as you're already logged in it should be quite fast.

You might need to retry authentication in the downloader once or twice as wrong/outdated data are stored in your device and on our servers.

What's the issue, do you have an error showing?

The base game and FAFOW DLC are separate.
You need to manually download the DLC when a new version of the base game is available.

I suppose you tried to put the rpa file in `Documents/Renpy_Saves/loveandsexsecondbase..../game/dlc`

Did you also try to move it in `Documents/Renpy_Saves/loveandsexsecondbase..../game`?

Some users reported that moving the rpa file directly in `game` worked.

If you're a patreon subscriber, you need to use your patreon login on our portal.
There's no link between patreon and itchio, as a patreon subscriber, you can't download itchio version.

What's the extension of the downloaded file? Does it ends with `.rpa` or with `.zip`?
If it ends with `.rpa` you just need to copy the file into the correct folder (check https://wiki.andrealphusgames.com/wiki/How_to_add_DLC#Android for the correct folder)

Then it's probably because you've downloaded the rpa file.

You shouldn't, there's a ingame updater. Click on the new version available label in the main menu.

Did you update the dlc_fafow.rpa file to the latest version too?

Be advised that messing with internal flags (especially the one regarding the home harem) can break your game.
We don't provide support if you start messing with internal variables.

Can you try to log in with your itchio account directly on  the portal (https://portal.andrealphusgames.com/ ) and check the authorization summary?

You need to reach an ending (marry someone) without using cheats to unlock new game + and gallery

Adding customization/accessories (for the MC or any NPC) is not that hard for the sprites.
The huge part is that we have to ask the artists to rework every CG with the MC/NPC to add the new customization/accessories.

Can you try to put the file in Documents/Renpy_Saves/loveandsexsecondbase..../game and check the about section again.

You don't need to do anything more.
Check the "About" menu to see which DLCS are enabled.

First start after downloading the assests takes time (~5/10min).
The game needs to compile new files.
Further starts will be faster

The game price increased a little since 2022.
From my understanding in itchio charging/pricing system (I'm really not sure about this), as you're below the current price of the game, you'll have to pay the difference to access the game again.

What's your game version (bottom right of the main menu)?

If you managed to unlock NG+ in an older version (before 24.04 I think) all the traits were passed trough NG+.

No, they're separated on purpose.

I don't understand, the module re is imported like 10 lines before line 123.
I'll try something in the next bugfix release, but, I'm more than stumbled about this.

 I spent more hours than I want to admit waiting for the confirmation screen...
The download/update process is really slow, but reliable (in most of the cases)

Weird, I'll check what's wrong.

I'm afraid you'll need to download the full game again.

In the options Select startup downloader. Close the game and launch it again. You should be able to download the missing assets form there.
If it doesn't work, you'll have to clear cache and storage.

Can you try with latest version (24.10.0)

We will, at some point move to another server provider to speed up downloads.
It won't fix every latency as some are directly related to android system and renpy engine but it'll help.
We just don't have the human resources right now.

Regarding your issue, you managed to download the file `6b65bc...` but for some reason it's not on your phone storage.
Do you have enough free space (~3G between temporary files and unpacked new files)?
