It happens! I see no problem with waiting for good content, and am always glad to hear that quality takes precedence over expediency. Just be sure not to pressure yourself too hard in the process as well.
A lot of knee-jerk criticism in there, people who judge the game based on a lack of content despite the fact that Mist went through similar phases in early development. Some people just expect a lot from a 0.1 version just because the developer has a completed game they can compare it to.
Not to mention a lot of people get upset when the game doesn't include kinks they like or some that they're not into. I'm not personally into femdom, but I don't get my cock in a knot whenever a game includes some of that for people who like it. It's insane to me how quickly some people pass judgment on games for frivolous things like that.
So I just wanted to supply my feedback that I'm quite interested in the development of this game, and am enjoying the direction of it thus far! I will say I'm not a big fan of overly grindy mechanics like needing to fish a bunch of times to build up to a date. I would advise that kind of thing should be more integrated into the game's systems with purpose beyond just building up date points so that it doesn't feel like a tacked on way to pad the length of the game.
I got on board relatively late, I think around 0.10 or 0.11. Either way, it's come quite far, and the advancements in development have been great to see!
