Heya! just noticed someone re-uploaded the game on Itch (https://hotsexgames.itch.io/quickie-a-love-hotel-story). I already reported it, but you might want to do it too
Heya! Just noticed someone re-uploaded your game https://adultstudios.itch.io/breedtown
Once again, Hotpink delivered a fun game. This one puts you in the shoes of a bartender who mixes drinks and lends an ear to the beautiful customer that just came in. The dialogues are so well-written they are very relatable, and you can’t help but feel invested in your customer’s stories. Moreover, the VA did such a great job at bringing the character to life it enhances the experience. On the downside, I feel the game is a bit too short for its own good because ending it with a short post-sex scene would have benefitted it more.
Gameplay-wise it’s simple, yet it works in the game favor. I initially thought it had a similar system Paradise Lust when I read I had to mix drinks, but its system is much easier. Instead of grabbing the bottle and pouring the correct amount of drink in the glass, you just click on the different bottles while following a guide to add them to the mixer, and you click on the mixer to well… mix them. Failing to prepare the cocktail has no consequences, though, not even a remark from our customer. Also, you’ll get a different sex scene at the end of the game depending on the drinks you’ve been serving her, so you have to choose carefully what to serve her if you want to unlock a specific sex scene.
The game’s art didn’t disappoint either. The pixel art and the girl’s design are great, and the animation is very well done. Furthermore, allowing you to look to the sides or behind you instead of keeping the camera fixed to the front is a really nice touch.
So yeah, you should check this one out if you have a spare 30 minutes or so. The game may be very short, but its production values and replayability make up for it.
I played this game out of curiosity without expecting much and 5~10 minutes later I was blown away by its quality. It has been a while since I have been so engrossed in an eroge.
The story is top-notch, but where the game truly shines is in the writing of the characters. It’s pretty much inevitable to get invested in their daily lives and want to learn more about them.
I didn’t mind the typos and grammatical errors much, while there were one or two that stuck out like a sore thumb the rest are nearly unnoticeable unless you are a native speaker or you’re actively looking for them.
The art style of the game is great. The characters are made with Koikatsu and they reminded me a lot of the ones in COM3D2 (both games are made in Blender). Unsurprisingly there’s some clipping here and there similar to what you get in COM3D2 if you went nuts with the sliders, but I can forgive it since fixing it would impact negatively on the game’s performance.
I’m honestly surprised this game was made in Ren’py. Usually, that engine is used to make visual novels, but this game is closer to an adventure game with VN elements. There are many ways you can interact with the environment, be it by exploring different places or picking stuff you can find lying around in the maps. It even has a fishing minigame!
The soundtrack is pretty good too. While it may not be the best one to listen to on its own it does a great job at enhancing the scenes and making them more impactful.
So yeah, if you’re still reading this play it NOW. You won’t regret it.
PS: Jimmy best character
I tend to avoid games which heavily feature furries because it’s not my thing, but this game taught me that I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover (or should I say “judge a porn game by its main fetish”?).
I really liked how the Arma is closer to an anti-hero instead of the typical Ideal Hero you find in this kind of stories. She’s a rather irresponsible knight who is nowhere to be found when people are in peril. She got tasked with slaying the dragon just because she’s way better than everyone else and her sword is made with a special material that can pierce the dragon’s scales.
The game mechanics are solid and the controls are very responsive, though getting the timing right to parry enemy attacks is quite hard (to the point I preferred to just dodge your opponent’s attacks as if I were playing Dark Souls).
Both the difficulty and the length are just right. The game is neither too hard to make it a frustrating experience nor too easy to make it boring and the level has enough hidden stuff to keep you entertained while at the same time it lets you rush through it and finish it quickly if you just don’t care about picking everything.
The soundtrack fits the game to a T and gives it a medieval feel to it. The sound effects are good too, I especially liked how there's a reverb when you’re inside the caves. That’s a detail you rarely see in other platformers.
I liked the way the characters, enemies and levels are drawn and found the animation during the sex scenes to be really smooth. You certainly did a great job there.
At the moment there’s only one level but the game is certainly promising. I can’t wait to play the full version once it’s out.
