Yep looking great now!

Hi, yes it runs, but it looks like it's supposed to have videos at certain points which are just a black box.

Since you're using Unity, it's likely you're just using the wrong codec https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/VideoSources-FileCompatibility.html

Hey, this was just plain Chrome on Kubuntu 24.04.

Browser version seems broken with "null function or function signature mismatch"

Ah awesome, is there an easy way to follow for when Linux is added?

Any plans to add Linux support?

Hi is there a way to skip and speed up the intro when starting a new game?

Do you plan to put the Linux version on Steam too?

Hi, any plans for Linux support with this?

Hey, do you have any way to contact you? As you came first in the Linux Game Jam and I via GOL offered a prize.

I look forward to seeing what cool things everyone makes :)

What will you do now the KS is nearly done and not funded?

Will it still be supported on Linux? Only seeing Windows in the system requirements.

Will you do a Linux build? :D

Just a note that the latest release fixes this.

Great, can't wait :)

Since you're using GZDoom can we get a Linux build please, and some instructions to run the content with GZDoom manually until then?

Thank you!

Awesome, happy for you and always hoped it would turn into a full game. Thanks for the great Linux support!

Yeah Unity is a pain when it comes to codecs. Linux supports tons of codecs, nearly all of them but Unity directly only supports 3 on Linux.

No worries, feel free to reply again when a new build is up and I'll take another look :)

(1 edit)

Looks like the Linux export is broken:

flydangerous.x86_64: error while loading shared libraries: UnityPlayer.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

UnityPlayer.so is missing.

Hi, so I tried the Linux client download and it doesn't run. I tried it in terminal and here's all it gave me:

This is on Arch Linux.

[liam@liam-pc ~]$ /home/liam/Downloads/lowlight/low-light-combat-linux/LowLightCombat.sh

Engine crash handling finished; re-raising signal 11 for the default handler. Good bye.

Rightyo, please reach out here if you do decide to support it on Linux: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/

Awesome, hit me up here when it happens: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/

Linux build coming?

This looks great! Any plans to bring it to Linux?

Hi, thanks for the reply, is there anything specific about Debian it needs or will it work across most distributions?

Hi, what platforms will this be available for? Linux i hope!

Hi just one small thing. For your launch script you have the Linux executable named wrong, it's "HWKWA_Linux_x86.x86".

Linux version appears to continue working well, although the cursor in menus is a bit too big.

Hi, will the Linux version be coming to Steam?

Looks incredible! Will this version be supported on Linux too? :D

Hey, seems to work perfectly :D

Any plans to bring out a Linux version? :)

Going by the official video, the squealing is expected

No worries. I run GamingOnLinux so would love to cover it. Feel free to message any time for help testing / advice or anything Linux :)

Any plans for Linux support? Looks brill.

Okay :)

If you do decide to in future, hit us up on GOL https://www.gamingonlinux.com/

Will there be a Linux version?

Are you going to put the Linux version up here too?
