You cannot. :) Thanks for playing.

I mean use the Non-Battle Skill “Inspect Area” while inside the witch’s house, then interact with the fireplace.

Use Inspect Area in her house, then interact with the fireplace. :)

Thanks for playing!

I'm wishing you safety and comfort in the future. (And thanks for playing!)

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words!

I'm glad you liked the game so far. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for the positive words! I'll keep working on the game! <3

Thanks for the positive words and feedback! :)

I'm glad you liked the game! Hope you're doing as well as possible.

And I'm glad to hear it runs well for you on Linux!

Hi! The Ordinary Key is found right here:

After you've obtained the Ordinary Key, you can use the item next to the locked door to unlock it.

Thanks for playing!

The support is greatly appreciated, but please don't push your wallet too hard! ^^;

Hope you're doing as well as possible!

Thank you for the very kind words!

And I’m glad you love the game! :)

Thank you! I’ll keep working hard on the game :)

Thank you!!

Thank you Azra! Appreciated as always :)

I hope your work situation improves! And I appreciate you considering supporting the project, but please make sure you take care of yourself :)

Wishing you the best!

Thank you for the positive words!
I work hard on the large scene and character art. :)

The game is still in active development!

Thanks for playing :3

Hi!
Although the non-Windows versions are untested, I've been told that people have gotten the game running on Android devices by using Transportal's "Web" release, and Joiplay.

That's about all the help I'm able to give on the subject, though.
Thanks for your interest! :)

I appreciate the positive words! I’m wishing you well!

And thank you for playing! :)

Hi! First of all, the game's releases should ALWAYS have an "End of Content" screen. If you didn't get to a screen where it's declared that you've reached the end of content, then you've missed something. :)

It sounds like you missed the mall content, as well as the mountain.

The mall content happens naturally in the Daytime at the protagonist's apartment, as long as the protagonist has already met up with Amy.
Depending on the order of events, you may have to go to bed in Verusa in order to trigger it.

To get to the mountain, the player has to have met up with Amy in the park, then has to do Wynne's quest, then has to rest at the Inn afterwards. Jen should say the group can go to the mountain - after which, you can go south of the lake and do so.

Responding to your numbered thoughts:
1. Thank you! I really appreciate when people show up to say kind and positive things about my game. :3
2. I just thought it looked better the way that it currently is.
3. This has been asked for by some - it's possible that it COULD be a thing at some point, but it would require some work to make it function in a way that's... not broken. :) And there are some other things to consider. Maybe eventually.
4. Hmm, it's pretty fast. Are you holding down the PageDown key while Faster Text Skipping is turned ON?
5. Hehe, you skipped. #5. XD
6. I'll have to figure out if there's something I want to do with that. Currently it does nothing but tell you it's Not Yet Implemented.
7.1 The fully-enclosed room requires the player to use Inspect Area near the south-east corner, then use the Green Medallion (found in the Western Forest) on that corner. ...If you mean the actual locked door, you just use an Ordinary Key.
7.2 I'm not totally sure what you mean. Do you mean outside, or in the tent? The nearby hill does cast shadows.
8. This might eventually get tweaked so it looks more like they're sitting on the bench. We'll see. :)

About your changelog questions:
1. The "picking up Damien from work" scene where the protagonist runs into Amy.
2. The mall hangout might require a day or so of rest before it happens, depending on your order of events.
...and #3 and #4 are both stuff in the mountains.

And finally,
I want to bring up that we have a Discord for the Patrons, and it may be a better place for in-depth conversations like this. XD You should be able to join it from the Patreon account that you paid from.

Thanks for playing! :)

Some people have told me they really like the pauses in dialogue, and some people have told me they dislike them.

Both options are present for those who want them.

Awwwe, this was wholesome XD

Thank you for all the positive feedback, as well as the attempt at being constructive :)

Thanks for playing!!

Hi! Thanks for the positive words and feedback.

There is an Instant Text setting in the game's Options menu for those who dislike the pauses in dialogue. :)
Just turn up the text speed until it says "Instant".

Hmmm, I’m not sure how that could’ve happened unless you switched versions and hadn’t transferred the saves over yet.

Glad you got it figured out!

Ah, okay, understood. :) have fun!

Thanks for the kind words! And I’m glad people seem to really like Jen.

You too!! :3

Hi Lily! It should be possible to load saves from previous versions. You just transfer the entire save folder over from the previous version.

If you’re still unable to load the save on the newer version: What version number of the game is the save file from, and what version is the one you’re loading it on? And what specifically is happening when you try to do so? Thanks!

Jen is bisexual. :)

Thanks for the kind words!

Yep!
The current Patreon-only release (0.4.5) actually has another innkeeper scene that the public version does not have (although there’s no art for it yet).

And there will of course be other scenes involving men in the future. Thanks for playing! :3

Oh, and for anyone who’s new here:

There is a setting to disable the protagonist’s attraction to men, so that kind of content is avoidable. :)

Hi! Thanks for the positive words!

Hmm, that could be a good idea. I’ll have to think about it.

I appreciate the good luck! Sending you good vibes!

Thank you for the positivity!

Hello! Your comment didn't show up until now since, for whatever reason, itch.io flagged you for spam.

I work on the game as a solo project, and intend to continue doing so.
...so I am not looking for any help developing it.

I wish you well!

0.3.4 and 0.4.5 BOTH include story content.

0.3.4 is the current Public Release,
and 0.4.5 is the current Patreon-only Release.

You should be able to transfer your save folder from the previous version, and load your save from there.

Please let me know if you are still having issues!
Thanks for playing!

Hi!
I've been told that people have gotten the game running on Android devices by using Transportal's "Web" release, and Joiplay.

That's about the extent of my current knowledge on the subject, though, and the non-Windows versions are untested.

Thanks for asking! :)

Thank you!

Thank you so much!! The game is still actively being worked on! :)

Thank you! I’ll keep working hard on it! :)

Thank you!

I’m glad to hear it! And thank you for the positive words!

Wishing you well! :3

Hi! Glad you’re enjoying the game!

Haha, yes, I am neurodivergent. I suppose things like that will inevitably show up in writing. :)

I thought about this suggestion (using “~♡” instead of “♡” ), and I have a couple reasons for not doing this.

1. I tend to use “~” at the end of sentences to imply a teasing or flirtatious tone, etc - and that could become confusIng in combination, especially in situations where hearts are also present.

2. Hearts by themselves are what I’m used to, and I actually LIKE them being right up there in the text - that way it feels very attached to the way the character is speaking, rather than it being a separate addendum.

Thank you so much for the positive and constructive feedback! I hope you continue to enjoy the game! :3

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words.

I'll continue to work hard on the game. Thank you for playing, and for considering support!

Hello!
Whenever a major release of Transportal comes out for Patrons, the previous release's in-game content becomes freely downloadable on itch.io.

Currently, the newest (Patreon-only) release is 0.3.4.
When the next major release comes out for Patrons, itch.io will get the content in 0.3.4 for free.

So yes, the current Patreon version's in-game content will eventually be on itch.io.
Patrons just get access to the content earlier. :)

Thanks for playing!
