"tub '\" or curved, slightly dished, item made from scrap may hold a fire and be placable/ movable to allow for expansion/ changes.

I play on a 1.6 GHz laptop with only 3200HD graphics. After tinkering with the settings a bit I found that "Simple " reduced the lag to a reasonable level. Using a counting system in my head to adjust for the action vs. result was possible and i played it anyway.

O.O!! this totally makes sense :)

Adding a bit of ' water replenishment ' to raw fish may give a needed bump at the start. Balanced with lower food value for raw than cooked, it may be an easily adaptable change.

Cool!...builder mode salvage game. I like it ! I suck at hooking flotsam though.lol.

I tried it on my little Acer laptop [ AMD Athelon 64,1.6GHz,3200 graphics,2.75 usable RAM, 64 bit ] and it does good on 'simple' setting . 2fps and a bit jumpy. I suck at hooking flotsam though.lol. A ? placable ? water current detector ( float with a string ) or a compass , might limit the time spent spining around and waiting to see where things are headed .

I'm guessing the 'fog' is the toss limit and no point in removing that. Is the raft stationary , or does it shift with and unseen current?

Is there a plan to add achivments ?( pop up for builder 2nd story, shark killer, farmer, architect and the like. )

*One thing i did notice is that the game does not pause on crafting screen. * major bummer when just starting out.

Adding a bit of commetary to the actions may brighten things up a bit. Crafting spear triggers " this will be a fun little surprise " Spear to 'use' ..." here fishy ,fishy fishy' catch while fishing " Lunnnch! ". Missing / shark eats raft ;" well that's a revolting development"

Planting tree : lovely bunch of coconuts or some other fun ditty.
