coinfactory.dk has the free demo version ! the expanded version with a lot of secret tiles and levels is available on Steam

i’d recommend to join the discord! it’s easier to discuss! but in my opinion it should be central and not in a place that blocks any upgrades .. it changes from map to map tho. central placement may save some belt tiles. but i’d you have portals at hand …

Hi , i’m totally up for that !  time limited levels are amazing to test features and avoid the need of maintaining them for the long run. A little campaign is totally possible ! I think i just need more content to get to that yet 

i love this idea. i have been thinking to implement this for possible the version 2 of the game, or after the game is finished.

at this point it would need a big refactor. but i’m thinking of other ways to go towards this approach 

i was spinning on the same idea. this is a great suggestion. splitting async multiplayer and competitive. i’ll try to add it ! i didn’t want to manage many different scoreboard tho hmm i’ll see what i can do !

Hi sam, i’m sorry to disturb you here, this is Lino from Coin factory, i did read your message. 

there is a problem with the Itch io app that makes the game fail. 

the game is a browser game and it can be played without problems from the phone or from just chrome/safari/firefox!

i hope you can get some time to try it, regardless of the rating.

i thought about this one a lot, this could allow different builds to be done, but also possibly make it too easy and the way to go most of the time. 

i we can try it in a time limited map as a special tile and see what happens!

hey, he’s they can be rotated but you need to click and drag to 2 tiles away.

Note: Pausing is easy, you just click the back button or close the game.
The game can be resumed from the main menu, there is a Continue Button that appears if you haven't finished a session.

Boxes with permanent bonus is one of the next ideas.. I just didn't want to give so much randomness in the boxes but in the other hand... it adds excitement to them, right ? "Oh, I got a x2 speed!", It could dramatically affect high scores and I don't want to base them in luck that much ... so I need to see how to do this properly.

 Thank you for your kind words, and I'm really glad you enjoyed the game that much.

1. I'll added to the pending list, it should be a quick one. Thanks for pointing it out, I have been working on the high-scores front but its good to shift to areas where the game is lacking attention.

2. I thought about this, I think it could be possible, I just wanted to avoid exploits or more bugs ... I'll see what I can do! I was also wanting a x2 speed button, just for the people that want to go a bit faster at some points.

3. I got sandbox mode requested many times, I need to see how to do it properly just to avoid getting the data mixed into the database and analytics. I may be able to build a map and then set the cost to everything to 0 or something. At least so its easier to play around.

There's a cool part in the game called "Mystery Boxes" that adds even more excitement. After you finish playing, you can leave these mysterious boxes for others to find during the game play. It's like a multiplayer thing where players help each other out. They appear from time to time in "desktop" only, not mobile (not enough space for the UI yet)

So the box you choose will get opened by any player that's playing. And it will get consumed, so only the players that get the notification will use that box (with special powers and buffs, or traps!)

I was mixing up information from the "standard" game database ! This was also why I didn't see the bug on the data-save front, huge facepalm :(

Yes, there was a bug preventing some information to be saved and causing issues with the display.

I'm writing a devlog about it but you help finding this, which is huge. No game was being saved at all.

I'm so sorry, some of your high scores might have not been saved. ( the counters for the bucket display were unharmed, but the information about games was the one in trouble)

I have just pushed a quick fix, will work on the proper fix as soon as possible.

i had to wipe the local storage data, that may be the reason for the normal run not being present. i’ll solve all this when i introduce a login and when i can save the data properly , sorry for the inconvenience :( 

thanks, i’ll take a look at this ! i have all the data to debug the saved games  now, maybe it is you and it just got duplicated in the DB.

and i’ll rework on the display with this feedback as well !

this could be interesting, there are certain layout dispositions with factories and centrals that could get benefited from this. I’ll see what i can do!

the update for scores is almost ready :) 

this is a WIP ! 

you can delete tiles with the letter “D” already, upgrades can be done by double clicking.

i need to find a way around shortcuts for factories , maybe “F” … but some maps may not have the factory as the main tile.

i’m spinning around the ideas. We can try F factory, C central A accelerator for now , but then for the rest a drag would be needed, this is what i didn’t like much

oh! maybe i can do it in a way where people just set the bindings they want from the game. i’ll try this next 

oh, the longest was 467 minutes so far 😂😂

Hi! it’s a know issue unfortunately. 

the itch io launcher is using a really really old version of chromium (v87). the current version is v119.  This is because they have been working on a new version of the launcher that is not yet released.

I’d totally suggest to just use an up to date web browser, it will work faster there and look more beautiful. (and most importantly, it will be more secure !)

The game is super light, around 371 kb. it will load instantly , no loading time, no issues.

But if you encounter any problem please let me know. i have contacted itch.io regarding they platform and they have this updated version under development since last year… so it should come anytime soon..?

I like this idea. Im thinking that we can make it so if you click one of the Bars, it gets expanded and it displays the different times.

Would that work ?

For the time being it is not possible because I'm not saving the times, I'm just saving just a count on how many people got that score. This can be updated, it could be interesting.
