Thanks for saying so. Unfortunately, game is on a bit of hiatus atm until I get the time to work on it. As for the models, they were made in Koikatsu.

There is an epilepsy warning at the beginning of the game, but you're not the first person to mention the flashing lights or suggest a warning. I imagine that has to do with conditioning and people being trained to ignore disclaimers. Regardless, I can see about putting another one in somewhere before that scene, or simply making the first one more obvious or something.
There's definitely new content. Most people seem to be seeing it fine, but you're the second person who's had this issue. Would you mind telling me if you're on PC or Mac and where exactly your save file was located? (like which line of dialogue).
The only thing I can think of is if the save was located on the end screen itself, which is now located at the end of the new content. If that's the case, I can definitely look into better ways to send the player to that screen, but until I get that fixed the only real solution would be to load an earlier save or turn on skip unread text and speed through the 0.2 content to get back to where you were.
Appreciate the kind words! This is probably the first thing I've really made and shared publicly that's gained any traction, so I have no idea what a normal amount of work looks like for a project like this or how long is reasonable to expect people to wait for updates, etc. etc.
Point being, it can be hard to tell if the bar I've set for myself is realistic or not, so I really do appreciate the understanding and support. Keep being awesome.
Not as of this moment, though I can certainly look into it. I'm not sure exactly what modifications would need to be made to the code so I'll have to comb through the Ren'Py docs and get back to you. If an android port does come, it'll likely be with the next major release along with the itch.io app version.
Depends on how much you like books! We've all got piles and piles of books we're interested in while the rest are being donated. Lots of vintage leather-bound tomes and stuff of that nature. My dad was a used book seller for years, and much of his house was converted to storage for that (which understandably drove my mom crazy). He's getting too old to do anything with it, and most of the books are so niche it would take years to sell them. Seriously, he just sold a book a few days ago that'd been listed for 12 years. >_>;
Of course he was also into model cars, vintage audio stuff like receivers, records, tapes, 8-tracks, players for all of them, big ass kabuki speakers from the seventies that weigh fifty pounds each, etc. Some of its still surprisingly usable even! I might actually end up using some of the speakers if I can find a place for them. (they're so big)
Found a sailor moon figurine still in the packaging, though the quality of the model was dubious enough I'm fairly certain it came out of a happy meal or something lmao. So yeah, definitely some cool stuff lying around. Unfortunately, their basement did flood at one point in the past few years, so anything close to the floor at the time was likely damaged beyond repair. Still, thanks to his packrat ways much of it was stacked to the ceiling and fairly safe which leaves plenty of stuff to sort through and salvage.
Thanks for asking by the way. <3
Hmm. That's unfortunate. I'm not sure what to do about it other than open a ticket though, unless there's something else I'm missing. Support hasn't responded to my last ticket from a week or so ago yet, but whenever they eventually get back to me I'll be sure to bring it up. In the meantime, I'll look around the options and FAQs and whatnot to see if there's something I'm doing wrong.
Edit: Nevermind, I think I see the problem. It's not as simple as uploading zip files for the app--it requires a specific method to make the game easily installable for app users. I was under the impression the game wasn't findable on the app, but it is. It's just not installable. That's my misunderstanding. I'll see what I can do to whip up an app version.
Hey, sorry for the late response--I checked out the itch.io app (I assume you're talking about the app available here) and a quick search brought up the game for me.
Perhaps there's some kind of mature content filter you need to disable? Sorry, I can't imagine why it wouldn't be showing for you.
While forces the world over scramble to fill the power vacuum left in the wake of his master's death, Rune travels to Japan to attend the prestigious Saisu Academy of Magic. There, he'll make new friends, help them with their problems, stare into the abyss, and maybe even fall in love.
(Saisu is equivalent to college, not high school. Everyone in this game is eighteen or older.)
Hey guys. I'm an author trying their hand at developing a VN. The primary focus is the romance and story, but this is an adult game with adult content. If you like:
- Romance
- Mystery
- Magic
- Cute anime girls
- Witty repartee and above average writing
- Existential Horror??
- Staring into the abyss???
Then you may enjoy Master Rune!
