You have to click on the customer! Sorry for the confusion

how silly. good job!

Nice and polished for such a short dev period! Love the music. And the satisfaction of ignoring those last AI requests and paying my little fishdevs more out of spite.

excellent minimalist platformer. sound design really stood out too! and i was not expecting so much content, the b-sides were a (great) surprise

🐸💨

congrats on finishing your thesis! this comic is so rad

the mole forgives you :) it's a very durable little ship

high praise from one of my favorite interactive fiction writers :)

Oh no haha that's a bug I should have forseen! Sorry about that, will patch once voting period is over (I don't think I can edit the game now). Thanks for playing!!

thank you for playing :)

that's great to hear! thanks :)

how silly! :)

thank you Jordan!

such a polished little minigame! love the art and music equally.

(note to people playing in a browser: don't use Alt as the shoot/advance text button, because I just learned that Alt+arrow keys is a shortcut to go back to the previous/next page in your browser lol. not the devs' fault!)

that's so kind! I'm happy the story was worth it.

thanks thanks thanks! :)

thanks for the feedback and kind words! I did originally want to have different ingredients, but unfortunately time constraints got in the way

thanks! I tried to balance the end goal not being too tedious but also not making the game only a couple minutes long, but I totally understand that with limited mechanics it can get repetitive quickly. thank you very much for the thoughtful feedback!

thanks so much!

the artist is also the musician and programmer (me) so thank you!

Haha I'm glad you figured out the mechanic. It means so much that you played it and enjoyed it! thanks for the encouragement.

thanks so much for the enthusiasm and the ideas! I'd love to add to the game in the future, and I'll make sure to credit you if I do add the bad guy character :)

I would love to have more time in the future to more mechanics, potions, and characters. this comment made me smile, thanks.

that means a lot! thanks.

haha thank you for hanging in there and playing!

(<:3

thanks for playing and giving feedback! I agree and I'd love to add more mechanics in the future

:D thanks!

unfortunately because of the game jam time limitations I couldn't draw as much mouse art as I wanted haha but thank you! I agree with the suggestions.

thanks! I'm glad you liked the art

thank you very much! I would like to look into adding more mechanics as well in the future :)

that means  a lot! fun fact, the sound effect of the customers walking up was made by me tapping on a roll of toilet paper.

thank you for your feedback and kind words! I'd love to add more interesting mechanics in the future.

thanks so much for playing and commenting! means a lot.

happy mice happy life 😎

that's great to hear, thank you!

hey shopkeeper buddies! your game looks awesome too :)

you get it.

you're very kind! thank you

love the art style on this! it took me a little while to figure out the strategy, but once I did I felt very proud of defeating the fox king.

thank you for noticing!! that was my favorite part to draw :)
