Hey man, glad you too are enjoying the game. and honestly I agree, I also enjoy the actual gameplay far more than the NSFW stuff. However, I do have some tips for you in terms of in game mechanics that already solve your issues.
For example, you can actually relocate your throne room. Just click on a room and there should be a crown icon near the bottom left, click on it and you'll receive the option to relocate your throne room.
Additionally, you CAN increase the variety of heroes you can find. Just send some of your people out to study the world in search of knowledge. They can come back with knowledge of other races, unlocking them for you to encounter as heroes or in the shop. These include Imps, Elves, Orcs, Hobgoblins, and Drow (not sure about regular goblins, haven't personally encountered any apart from the starting one).
