No problem at all, grateful you checked out the others. I plan to look at a bunch of this game jam and do a little write-up to fully cover much of whats offered here.

Totally agree on limitations sparking creativity in a special way. And same to you on seeing what you make next! Cheers!

You are so welcome. Just wanted to show my love for Color Club.

A brilliant game and tool. I love this use of environment. I referenced your game in my Substack post about this game jam and wrote the following,

Critter Crafter gives me the inspiration to make creatures with my environment rather than something like dice or cards and that feels great. As this list of games probably shows, I am in love with the idea of using my environment to game in unique and spontaneous ways. Critter Crafter is just another way to have that option and to see game value in everyday items

What a stellar concept of color theory and an absolute love letter to acknowledging the colors. I referenced your game in my Substack post about this game jam and wrote the following,

What can I say other than I have never thought a punch card would bring me such joy. And I get a free coffee on the regular from a local punch card. I saw Color Club and instantly planned my trip to the hardware store to snag some paint swatches. A living RPG where you just go throughout your day with colors in mind sounds like such an peculiar adventure. This strikes me as a game where I will be keeping multiple copies in my wallet at the ready. And it has great potential for making new friends “out in the wild.”

A game on a bookmark is such a cool idea and I love the practicality of it. I referenced your game in my Substack post about this game jam and wrote the following,

Another game of redaction and its a bookmark! How could I not love it? This is a great twist on the redaction concept and you warp an existing game with it. I think we have all been there where we see a game within the game. (In)Visible gives you the chance to expand on that urge.

I can't wait to experiment with this game. I referenced your game in my Substack post about this game jam and wrote the following,

I am an avid fan of detective and speculative fiction. I adore The X-Files and I love me some redaction aesthetic. Pick a Page combines both and gives an experience that can be done with any page snippet. While described as a game involving a GM, I see this as capable of being a true impromptu adventure to take on the go. I could see myself playing on a lunch break with any old piece of text. I love that about it.

Thank you so much for making something involving cartography. I referenced your game in my Substack post about this game jam and wrote the following,

A game involving cartography. Woo, count me in! Cartography feels mysterious and intrepid and Strata feels like it captures and embraces so much of that. I could see myself making a ton of these and the time capsule aspect (whether honored or ignored for regular play) feels like such a cherry on top. I might bury one in my backyard and eagerly await the timeline… Or if I sell my house, leave some coordinates for the next buyer!

Meet the Wizard captures my imagination and I play wizards and clerics in DnD. This feels like a great way to craft magical NPCs or new backstories for my future characters. It can also be a fun exercise in how you can create non-wizard with a little creative thinking and “kitbashing.”
