2. So you essentially just grind in the forest before reaching the first town and drain em all in one go? I assume that includes the shop keep and the inn girl so that involves busting down the door. Could you outline specifics please?

Fun little game if tedious due to the constant back and forth money grinding and repetitive candy gulping, if I could offer any sort of input or advice I would either have the jobs pay more or have a lengthier period between rent being due.
Either one would I think change the game for the better and speed people on to the content they came to see in a game like this.
Gotta say I just found this game but it is a gem, interesting premise, the tf elements are solid along with their descriptions, the witch is an interesting antagonist, pretty irredeemable, twisted and evil but with enough humanity to make her understandable in motivation.
Still hoping for an ending where I get to bury that wood hatchet into the back of her skull though.
Fair enough, the only reason I brought it up at all was because I saw a potential in a branching story that could mechanically be implemented pretty easily with the basic system you have already brought in the game. I will always advocate for their being "more" story choices in the game as it to me player freedom is what separates games as a medium from novels or movies.
So I am pleased to hear you are considering it.
