I was really excited to check this one out, but the AI backgrounds immediately made me uninstall.
Please do better and don't use AI. It is incredibly harmful to artists, the quality of your work, and the planet.
If these devs ever right this wrong will someone let me know? I'd love to play it when it's 100% human.

Hey there. So this game has a lot going for it. The music is so infectiously amazing. The girls are all hotties. The minigames are great. The UI is sleek. But, dude, can you not use AI for the puzzles?? You have a plethora of cuties; just take a stylized render of them and use that. Don't resort to using generative AI that steals artwork from artists. That is super scummy and makes me not want to play your game. I hope you reconsider and make this change in future updates. It would be a weird hill to die on, and it would filter out players who would otherwise support you.

When I saw that SLim had a new game, I immediately bought it. Awakening is a genuinely good game, and SLim also has probably the best Renpy tutorials on YouTube.

Unfortunately, upon loading the game, I was hit with AI-generated images.

It's honestly depressing to see a talented developer stoop to such lows. There was no mention of AI on the Itch store page or in the game's tags. If there were, I wouldn't have purchased the game.

I have already contacted Itch support for a refund.

Hopefully, SLim will come to their senses and remove the awful AI.

EDIT: I got my refund, which is awesome. It just baffles me that SLim couldn't have just put one of the many cute girls in the game in a suit and have her be in varying stages of distress for the difficulty images instead of resorting to art theft.
And as for the gameplay itself. It's interesting? It's a lot of work to get a 4 second animation loop with no sound effects and no dialogue. For a lewd game, it's not very lewd at all. You can't even get a chub from it.

This game was so much fun and well written! The art style is so unique and different. It has some ways to go, but hopefully the Kickstarter takes off!

The new industry standard on how to make a game

Had a really fun time playing this game and I definitely wanna see where it goes!! 

I really enjoyed what you have so far! I hope you can maybe come back to this in some capacity one day.
