This game turned out to be such an Experience, it's honestly incredible. I went into it fully expecting a simple fun chatsim and it ended up being one of the most transformative games I played?? The Ronin's endings are astounding; they recontextualize the whole narrative and his entire character, it's insane work. I didn't even notice the shift in his attitude, his texts until it became really obvious. I was there with the MC bamboozled into thinking I had maybe not the upper hand, but a chance to fool everyone AND THE FOOL WAS ME THE WHOLE TIME. I finished playing and sat there for 15 minutes and then had to record a monologue about it lasting a full hour. I could write essays. I'm still stunned and amazed and everything. My brain has been rewired. Top-tier game, thank you so much for creating it.

yep i had this too!
nb Nox sprite doesn't show up properly, because the files in the blushsm folder are a bit messed up and should be renamed for the sprite to go through the animation properly. "blushsmopen.png" should be "blushsmaopen.png" and "blushamahalf.png" should be "blushsmahalf.png".
The more pressing bug i think is an issue in syntax that makes it so the game doesn't track any of the stats. I don't think there is currently a way to get any ending except the bad one. All the "=+" sequences in the script should be corrected to "+=". The first one sets the stat to a number, the latter adds to it.
It is a really good game though i hope they fix it soon!
I am devastated. Those were easily the best five of so hours of my life. I thought my face will split in half with how much I was smiling. One of the greatest games I tried, literally perfect. Nice, relaxing atmosphere, incredibly lovable cast from the one and only Artemis (who now owns my heart and may keep it forever) to any minor character. They are so diverse and so-so-so charming, every single one. The romance is paced nicely, the game and the characters are always asking your consent and giving you control. Artemis is, once again, a massive sweetheart, and game gives you lots of opportunities to give them some love. In general there are a lot of options and game keeps track of them nicely, be it MC's tastes or how certain scenes played out or even what form of physical affection MC frequents (judging by the variations in Artemis' dialogue when you kiss them on the cheek for the first time. implemented kiss count? goty). All in all, Cryptid Coffeehouse was a very relaxing, warm and satisfying experience, which I know for sure I'll come back to when I crave comfort and I know it'll deliver. The only flaw I see is that it ends, but eh it had to happen and while it lasted it was incredible.
(Artemis brainrot here i comeee)
