Sounds pretty much bang on what I get, other than I was never aware you were able to move!
What graphics card do you have?
Shortly after launch, either windowed or full screen, the game causes my screens to go black, and I have to reboot to get any control back.
I've switched between windowed and fullscreen, checked my system and drivers are up to date, etc, and also looked through my system logs but can't figure out why it's happening. it does appear to just be this game, as I've been able to play titles such as Borderlands 3 and Destiny 2 without issue.
I'm on Windows 10 with an AMD RX 480 graphics card.
Bug: Creating and starting a new game causes hard crash to black with forced reboot required. Audio can be heard looping in a jarring 'sawtooth' until power is off.
Priority: Critical.
Recreating the issue: Open the game, select new game, select Adventure, name the world "Laffland", select play. The airship scene loads, and after the first line of dialogue is given with a prompt, the game crashes, my PC crashes to black and is completely unresponsive. Force shutdown required, everything seems fine on reboot.
[Edit] Now tested on default settings on Relaxed game mode. Same issue. (Hope all this is helpful btw, game sounds really interesting.)
What I've tried: Reducing and increasing options in the graphics menu relating to draw distance and quality. Changing from fullscreen display on 1920x1080, to windowed mode 1600x900. I have noticed that the game doesn't capture the mouse fully in either mode and it can travel onto my second monitor, it seems to use the full width of both screens when turning the camera in the small segment of play I reach.

When grabbing the H value with the mouse and moving the mouse to increase the value, I hit the maximum value and the program crashed. I've tried it again to make sure, and it does the same thing: Program freezes and Windows reports it as unresponsive.
You might need to clamp that value between 0 and 359.
