TL;DR So I tried the game out. most of the time I spent was being confused and lost where and what to do. I'd love if there is like a guide/walkthrough to the story or something. cause I do like the game and the art is good <3 also I think I found a bug.
I love the art and the story. The game has a few buggy moments. there were instances where I have to do something specific to trigger the cutscene which just really made me confused. i.e after failing to look for the treant or whatever. instead of taking the red portal thingy I took the long way down because I wanted to grind. I got back to the town and I was confused as hellll lol I was like "something is supposed to happen now right?" cause yellow boy and orange boy got out of prison. (after going back and forth the forest with wolves and the other forest with bats) i went back to a previous save and come to find out that the trigger was walking to the right edge of the screen where the green healing orb is. and I was like Finally.
I also found what I think is a bug? idk but I'll post a video. I have yet to beat the siren cause I can't find them on the lake idk if a cutscene is supposed to play or something lol. before all these though, I was using thunder on each of the enemy mobs on the lake where the siren is supposed to be "cloaking", cause I thought the siren is disguised as a mob so yeah lol that was kinda funny.
I just finished the demo today! It was fun and I can't wait for the full game to come out! There was a huge difference when it comes to battling when compared to Dark Places (which I love <3) but it's really easy enough to learn.
I love how I can interact to almost anything in the world. like the books and the old nets and stuff? and Kivuli just gives his thoughts on it, Like the Violet Banner on that old ruin? I thought that was just a simple banner but there's lore behind it! anyways I'm just satisfied that there's actual world building in this game too, much like Dark Places! It just gives the game more life <3
One thing I'd like to have in the full game though is when I wanna discard something I want it to tell me how much I want gone. It would really save me some time lol
And also chest upgrades if possible, I love to hoard LOLL
