The Steam version and this version are the same, it's on both sites because some countries (Germany, etc) don't have access to Steam and we want everyone to play the game who's been waiting for it :)

Have you tried lowering the settings in options? If that's still not enough, we're going to massively optimise the game once again before releasing on steam :)

Having 20+ items in your inventory will make you super slow, since there is a weight mechanic in this game 👍 hope this helps
