Hiya! I’m Kism, a self-taught hobbyist 2D artist. I’d like to get my head in the game of game dev art/assets and expand my portfolio for the field. I don’t currently care about getting paid, I just want to help someone make their game and bring their ideas to life and get some experience for myself!
Anything design or character-related from concept sheets to sprites to CGs is my specialty. I’m open to trying anything else 2D such as backgrounds (I’m better at outdoor than indoor), GUI elements (textboxes, buttons, icons), UI design, animation assets for an animator/rigger to use and so on, just know that with those I will be learning as I go!
I am familiar on a basic level with game coding logic and how some images might need variations (hover vs idle buttons), specific dimensions, separate layers for different parts of an image, so on and so forth.
Preferences and Boundaries:
I am comfortable doing LGB content (MxM, MxF, or FxF romances) and adult content.
Can draw just about anything! People, monsters, animals, robots, whatever. If I haven’t drawn it before, I will quickly study and learn how. I’m also comfortable with any genre (horror, fantasy, sci-fi, etc.)
I will only work on teams consisting of adults. I do not collaborate with those under 18 years of age even for SFW projects. Please do not contact me if you or anyone on your development team are under 18 years of age.
I will not work with projects or people that insert modern-day politics/sociopolitics/ideologies/etc into the workspace or the project itself. I like to preserve the immersion of fictional worlds and the escapism games bring.
I do not make fan works of existing canon characters, real people, or any cross between the two (i.e. vtubers.)
I do everything by hand with my drawing tablet and do not utilize generative AI. I am personally unwilling to work on games that will have AI-generated images in the final product.
