Such a seemingly simple yet interesting concept. Love the art too!

what immediately drew me to this game was seeing the pixel art, and it does not disappoint. through mere suggestion, there is so much detail in the animation and it was mesmerizing to watch. there was a bit in the third story that i had never seen anything like it depicted in a pixel art style before.
the individual stories themselves were also interesting, i enjoyed that they covered topics such as homophobia, mental illness, and racism, and it showed despite them taking place a century ago, the topics are still relevant as ever.
the game also had a lot more puzzles than i expected, as i've gotten used to many modern point & clicks focusing more on narrative than puzzles, but here they are in equal abundance, and you don't even have an inventory in this game!
i do wish there had been a warning for an animal's murder though as i was quite upset by that so warning to others.
Such a moving and accurate depiction of anxiety even for such a small game. Once I began realizing that I was losing space to escape from others around me, the panic really start to build. The suffocating zoom every time someone makes a mean comment, the subtle ever-tilting of the world, and the colors all serve to make the anxiety visible and real. Although I am well acquainted with anxiety, I feel this game is a rare depiction that could help others who aren't familiar better understand it.
I got the ending of acceptance. It was her skeleton.
I found it a really interesting portrayal of dissociation from the body as a result of abuse. Many who are abused need to dissociate to survive and become disconnected from their bodies (for various reasons), so I found this an incredibly clever and realistic way to depict that struggle.
This was so cute and fun, I've always wanted a CXG game so this was a dream come true. For a first game, this is amazing, great job!
The art is really detailed and nicely done, I was really impressed with the characters actually looking like themselves (that's always hard when doing pixel art) and the level of detail in all the locations. The forest setting was gorgeous.
There are some perfectly written jokes I could imagine on the show and great in-jokes in the art and collectables.
I only wish we could've heard more music from the show, the little we heard of West Covina was amazing :)
