An interesting read for sure. I could go and say that I should say no such things, as classifying it as "interesting" is already a stance that could receive repercussions, but in an apolitical stance that should not be the correct approach... and I'll stop the jokes there, you get it.
I don't know what I was expecting getting in, but I clicked the site without barely reading the title itself (unrelated to the game itself, I was simply spacing out, as I often do). I think in the end that was a good thing: it gave me time to process it all without any precognition of it, and it left me realizing bit by bit what the character was getting at. At first, my initial thought was a talk on the deep reach that anxiety can have, then the realization of the lack of willingness on political stance and the belief of superiority finally hit me, and it made me really question a lot of morals and actions (or lack of) that we tend to take in our daily basis out of a desire to comply to others, confront them or abide solely for ourselves. It's a truly interesting read, and it reaches in such a vital moment in our current time where I think messages like this are needed to let the world question what are they willing to do or not do while we're fully aware that the rest of the population deals with different circumstances all over.
A very curious take on what being a magical girl implies, and taken in the loosest sense of the word while still sticking to the theme. This was fascinating!
