I appreciate the feedback! I ran out of time for the lore, but I tried to fit something basic in the game description. I agree that it wasn't very clear.
Thanks for the feedback! I haven't been able to replicate the issue where grass kills you. You might be referring to the spike textures, in which case the confusion is understandable. This is my first game jam (and game, for that matter) so I wanted to stick with very simple player and collectible sprites. I completely agree that those sprites should have fit the other textures better.
