That would be awesome!

Hello,
In one of the discords I belong to someone asked about names and naming and Ebon (Everchanging Book of Names) came up. I then went down a rabbit hole to see if I could find the original website. Unfortunately that site is shut down but I did come across your reddit post from 6 years ago where you mention possibly building an updated version of Ebon, but I see there has been no updates on this and I don't see anything similar in your library of software you developed. Did you do anything further with Ebon?

Is it because you think the Metatron has copyright? It does but it has been released as public domain. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Metatrons_cube.svg
Obsidian can use HTML so it might not be that difficult to do.
What would be even easier for you is if we could download the files in markdown format (instead of the format we download then now in). If you did somehow get it set so we could download in the markdown format it would fall on our end to integrate it how we wanted into Obsidian.
You do some great work as so far I really enjoy all the things you have created.
I have somewhat of a request.
Have you heard of Obsidian the markdown note taking app? If you haven't it is free and there is so much you can do with this app. There is a huge RPG community for it and some of the plugins are simply amazing.
I was wonder if you might be convinced to look into creating a plugin (or plugins) for some of your stuff that could integrate it into Obsidian?
It would be awesome if you could and there is huge discord community with quite a few developers active in the various channels.
Basically something that looks more like it was written or drawn by hand and less technical. As far as an idea for what they may look like, take a look at the Nordic runes for inspiration here.
I also wonder if it's possible to set it so we could alter the lines and such to more of what may be needed.
I have two requests to start with.
1. Add a Metatron template. Basically a template that allows you change the different mini circles.
The Metatron makes for a great magic circle that contains several sub circles. I have giant Metatron puzzle planned in the campaign I have been designing. This Metatron isn't magical (though that may change with this Magic Circle Generator) but it covers the floor of a large room and is a puzzle that the players must solve using keys they have acquired elsewhere.
2. The ability to add basic shapes like squares, triangles, circles, diamonds, etc. It would be really cool in combining this with the request above and having the ability to make templates.
This is awesome. I actually love this more than the Rune generator of yours.
I want to use these as sigils for spells in a game but they don't fit that well. If there was a way to edit the lines and the images I could set them to how I like but that would take forever...lol.
Is there a way to make these look less alchemical (less scientific) and more mystical like magic sigils or runes?
The system is HARP (High Adventure Role Playing) and it's not related to D&D in any way. So this might not be something so easily tackled. In fact it has different stats than D&D and is basically a skill based system, even the spells are considered skills. The system is also point based as each level every character gets 50 development points to spend for stat increases, skills, and special abilities. Each skill has a progression rate and there are two different rates; favored (cost 1 per rank) and un-favored (cost 2 per rank). The progression rate is not as direct either. For the first 10 ranks in a skill the bonus is +5, then it's +2 per rank up to 20, then it's +1 per rank thereafter. I am working on a house rule that might change that though. Then each skill has two stats it gets the bonus from.... etc
The system is percentile based and the dice generally explode on a roll of 96 or higher.
So you can see this would not be an easy thing for you to do. If you wanted I could work on the stuff while you help me out here and there...lol.
This looks awesome! I'd love to be able to use this with a very different system. Would it be allowed for someone to take a version of the program and alter it for another rpg system?
I'd be the one to do this and the only coding I've done was with maptools and Javascript for pdfs. Is it is allowed in not sure how far my limited experience would get me.
I'm apparently not that good with editing files like you are. I think it would take me a lot longer. As it is now I am vectoring a black and white image of a world map to do some island maps and the detail sucks for as close in as I am. I want to do a quick city that I can use as a basic map for the players to use while I vector and set up a better map using the a copy of the same original.
