Love that Amicus costume.

I do like this game, I really do. But going to Goatown after visiting all the places once just seemed to skip some very important details story-wise, and suddenly I have to worry about finances and stuff without any kind of tutorial? If I hadn't already played through a previous update, I'd be extremely confused. Was I supposed to go to Sweetealand before all that, and if so shouldn't there be some kind of story beat that makes me go there after the initial visits?
It's interesting but that last big room was a nightmare to deal with. Part of it was curiosity sure but I find it really hard to predict those eye traps for starters. Sometimes they're consistent and sometimes they're just random af. Still, demo. I guess just make it more obvious when those things are going to go off? I dunno. I'd like to see where the game is going so hey.
Love that I can't make progress. Lost a battle then lost to a guard immediately after, that's fair. Also it gave me a game over so hey, let's load again. I'm sure there's a story and some fun stuff but it's a bit too punishing and I lack the patience to go over the same scenes again and again and again. Maybe if I could save anywhere, but eh.
Hope you can get the help you need. Sucks that you're dumping on everyone else for your own problems, but mental health is a bitch. Sucks about the VN, it had some potential, but if you really hate it that much then I guess that's that. Sucks to be lumped into your 'cringe' and 'emo' labels, but if that's how you see everyone then I can't help that. Since fueling your ego would be bad at this stage in your life, I'm not going to be doing that. Ah well, not everyone's cut out for this sort of thing I guess.
I'm okay with it, despite my first exposure being that joke in the car and I wasn't expecting it. That's what I get for not paying attention to the changelog then. But while I wasn't sure at first, I think the current way you're doing it is perfectly fine. I'm sure it'll take some time to get it all down anyway, but a suggestion is that you want to do most of the voice recording close together. Quality, time, etc. That way you won't get different results for later lines. And so long as there's an option to turn it on/off then I can't say anything else about it. Story should be built up first, of course. That's important.
Well the branching choices were obvious yeah. I'm grateful for that. Just at first I didn't realize some of them were thoughts only until a few choices in. Not a big deal, though at first I wondered if it was an Extracurricular Activities situation where the one I show the most interest in becomes the main husbando lol.
