Thank you for reading it, I'm so glad you liked it!  "I'll hold the baby so you can make games" is certainly a luxury, most days it's just "I'll hold the baby so you can be an adult/a human".  Good thing this part is only a couple of years long! (Or thereabouts?  Haven't gotten that far in the book.)

I'm so glad you read it and took the time to let me know you liked it!  This is especially heartening to see in the midst of yet another long sleepless night.  Energy boost: received!

Thank you!  It's nice to know someone enjoyed it.  It's definitely not what I had in mind at the beginning of the jam, but it was still super fun to work on, rush and all.   All that good irony at work!
