For the sprites, it would be everything like the lawn, shovel, sun, and peas. If this is a placeholder sure it works but your game will look twice as good when you draw everything yourself.
I'll play a new update on the game when it is released. Also if your bored I've made games to and play what seems cool to you.
Some things I think need some reworking:
I feel like the early game is way too rough since the constant amount of bloons in all lanes is too overwhelming what would help if bloon enemies in the early game weren't as scattered and that bloons would spawn focusing on certain lanes aka having 5 bloons spawn in 1 lane only would be easier to defend early.
Also, lead bloons are very tough with the only counter being cherry bomb maybe add potato mine for that also
It might be a lot of work but it would look way better if you didn't use any sprites from the original game and did all of the drawing.
Still think this is a cool idea for a small game
Hey just wanted to mention that I updated my game with more cool maps and a new tower plus ill tell you some bonus features:
Pressing enter will speed up the game super fast if you need to wait for a while.
Pressing Z in sandbox or adventure mode (Press S for sandbox mode Before wave 1 and sandbox instructions are in the tutorial.
Press A at any time will give you sandbox powers while still having your current wave progress (Adventure Mode)
I just wanted to mention this to you since you did like this game and that there's some new content
A cool idea that I enjoyed playing for a bit. My only issue is that you can only have a max of 6 full cards and when I need to draw I would feel that id want to draw a lot but this limit is restricting I cant fit in my hand.
Idea: If I can only have access to 6 cards max I feel like if I draw more than extra they be put aside still flipped over but ill get them once my hand space isn't full
The game is cool that I got it for free but I personally think that 11$ is way to much for this game (Awful price for what's there to do). If you are gonna make it a paid game even though I got it for free. Id also feel that you should make it so that you use sliding and wall jumping more (Add more scenario's where you want to use it to get ahead) and monsters that behave differently. Id also like for their to be parts of the game where its just cool to explore weird liminal places.

Or you can also give wave complete bonuses
I also had a negative lives and couldn't loose
I think you should add a really beefy enemy in the game more earlier on since I could spam splash towers easily
If you'd like you can try out my game dot TD hardly anyone plays it so its whatever. If you are gonna play it you can press space to speed up the game since no one plays it.

Feedback:
Good:
1. You do have a level select that lets you play certain things
2. The shooting recoil feels good
3. No microtransactions imagine XD
Things to fix:
1.
If you can fix that it would look better on some levels
2. Level 12 to hard the shot to the key is frustrating
3. Maybe make the bocks you shoot indicate you have to shoot them

Here's some answers to your concerns
1. I don't expect anyone to pay money for this game and this was a project that improved my skills.
2. I hate the text thing IT SUCKS ASS I AGREE. The only reason I can't do anything is I would have to change a shit ton like the sprites, coordinates for certain code, and just the position for everything. You could probably imagine how hard it would be to redo all of that with a finished game.
3. I agree with you ima fix those damn towers missing shots and give them a beating
4. If you try hard mode (Skull button) it is almost essential for you to skip waves early on
5. I do understand the UI isn't good but making a pop-up menu would be hard, especially with Game Maker Studio 2s trouble with UI
6. If you can could you give me some things you like about the game
7. Could you give more info on where I can add more particles and VFX cause I'm not good with visuals

Overall pretty smooth. This has small bits of Undertale which I recently played again. If done right this game could be enjoyable like Undertale. The demo does kind of feel confusing since you don't get to be in the actual world/story that much. I feel like a little part of the starting section would be nice to experience.
