There are plenty of subsystems that could be expanded on for a full release. Right now its a proof of concept with a functioning gameplay loop, event system, relatively basic AI, and an unrefined map. Compared to many other indie games, this could be labeled a Beta easily, but relative to a proper studios game, the appellation of pre-Alpha is correct. The fact its as fun as it is while being incomplete is a good sign for the future, along with the stable funding via Patreon. As long as Nose doesn’t burn himself out and gets a proper paid team working on it, the future is bright.
