Thank you!!! I'm really happy you like it!

Thank you! I really appreciate it :D

Watched it! Really impressive :D

Ah I see! Unfortunate, thanks for the tip!

I tried T_T But I got stuck on one of the levels and didn't manage. I was very far though (I think). Beaten like 8 levels or so?

Fascinating entry. I really like the idea of placing blocks and also the fact that it changes later to more platformer based. Great music too!

I felt that controls were what blocked me. Snappiness of the blocks to each other is very strong and it's hard to separate them. Movement is quite hard too. But apart from that it's a great game!

Thank you a lot!

Oh those are definitely to be improved :D Menu I managed to get to work like 20mins before the deadline, so I didn't manage it to work on proper resolution and I do agree on optimization too! Thanks for suggestions <3

Lovely as always <3

Relaxing! I wish there would be a bit more challenge or more fluent movement, but apart from that good job :D

Enjoyable and satisfying when you lay shots on the planes!

Controls are the biggest problem, they are quite clumnky and not really enjoyable, but apart from that I had fun :D

Great climate and idea for the game, though I suppose the gamejam time was a limitation here T_T

Flying could be a bit faster and dynamic and giving some kind of additional goal would help out keeping player entertained.

But it's a great game to try!

Cool concept and quite satisfying to play!

I really enjoy the art, but it's a bit too much. It hurts eyes and is a bit unreadable. I would suggest making the contrast between gameplay and background bigger and making them less distracting. Apart from that a really fun submission!

I laughed my ass off the moment I launched this game XD

Love the concept and it's extremely satisfying! Squirrels are cute (and it's funny that dark squirrel changes into a white one)

Controls need a bit of work, it was hard to play on both mouse and keyboard with everything so related to each other. And I can't really see a theme of the jam in it, even if you call move direction a 'wind' :P

But it was such a fun game!

Truly an educational game :D Loved the presentation of it and that it teaches stuff well, but it was a lot to remember to use in gameplay. I would suggest putting some "?" sign in the corner or something on which you cna click to see the beginning slides again.

Art is very clean and pretty and I enjoyed the mechanics quite a lot, though I wish the tasks were a bit more obvious on what we want to achieve etc and things were a bit clearer.

Thank you for your game!

From the very beginning I knew it would be a great experience :D

Amazing tutorial and quite creative I have to say. Art and all the polish you put into the game really makes it shine and I love the idea! Simple, but satisfying. One of my favourite entries so far.

Obviously game needs a bit more love, but I really enjoyed the concept. Flying around the forest with a kite sounds great and tree generation by itself works really well!

Keep up the good work :D

Fun experience :D

Love the fact that the use of prerequisite is not literal to controls like in most games! Art is pretty too and concept itself is interesting.

Interactions could use a bit of polish. Seeing more clearly when spikes can kill us, having movement that is a bit faster (especially on level 3), lighting up the used button and fan, etc. Things that would make game a bit more readable and enjoyable :D

But apart from that it was a great submission!

Ye I know! Making a game on a gamejam is really hard. It's still very impressive what you ended up with!
Also Frostpunk was also something I had in mind xd
Have a good day!

Lovely pigeon :D And lovely game too!

I truly love the concept of this type of game (I love those games), but with interesting plot to it, definitely would do well polished.

Using the prerequisite to limit the down movement and make puzzles around it is ingenious :D was a pleasure testing it out!

Extremely atmospheric game!
I love the mood and made me feel really cozy, though (as it is a case with gamejam games quite a lot) it would be much better while finished up with everything you had in mind :D Having more interactions based on what we buy or some gameplay changes over time would really help find it more enjoyable.

Would love to see it as gathering resources and upgrading your 'base' for an unpleasant coming event or something :D

Anyway, great gamejam submission and I would love to see you work on it further!

Wonderfully made game :D
Artistically pleasing and very enjoyable concept wise.

I love the little parachute and style of the game though if you would be looking forward to improving it further then there are couple bugs/glitches I noticed:
- You can smash space to fly if you do it quick enough. Might be a problem if you will make more challenging puzzles, as you can just fly to them.
- Fade In/Out is a great addition, but in your case, the fade In triggers before the screen is completely dark, so probably you have to add a lil more delay before screens swap.

Apart from that, great job <3

As hurricane should :D Thanks a lot for playing!

So glad to hear that <3 Really happy that you enjoyed it!

Thank you for those words! I'm really glad you enjoyed it :D that change of pitch during intro was my little experiment, so glad it did it's job :D

Oh wow, this game is absolutely trippy XDD

That's actually an awesome idea for a game! Got 373 points :D

I will probably thank you in every possible place, but I truly appreciate this game!

Can't believe this game is from the game jam :O it's so good! and cozy :D

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed :D

Such a cool game! If it was a steam version, I would defo buy it :D so enjoyable to play

(1 edit)

Beautiful as always. I kind of felt the pressure of gamejam in this one, as there were some moments I felt you wanted to show much more or keep it slower, but there was so much to do that you had to sped up T_T (at least I felt it that way). Great story and visuals anyway :)

No, we actually made so it's just a beginning of the story

It is up :P

It was just for registering for jam. I will fill it up in couple hours

Glad you like it :D

Great game :D Was more pleasurable than original imo!

Very chill game :D I wish you had more time to polish it as it was really pleasurable to 'walk' :D
Good use of low poly too and very fluent movement!

Nice :D I didn't know about this game, but friend of mine told me after we've created Make'em Cringe. Btw it seems that this game is on steam now :D https://store.steampowered.com/app/270630/Haunt_the_House_Terrortown/ In case you want to recall some memories :P

oh that's amazing, thank you so much :)
