i'm so glad i finally got to play this installment of the ratchelor!! i have to say that i had the most fun playing this one, and thundercroft is my absolute beloved <3
if i was a different person, though, i would've married swalorn
i have no words that haven't already been said, but i want to emphasize them 1000% times over!! i am so intrigued with the story and how the focus seems to be not only on the girls, but also Jacques as well! the way plot points were introduced and even expounded upon despite it being just a demo has me waiting excitedly for the full release. the sound design and the art enhances the overall atmosphere of the game, giving way to the subtle eerie nature of it. i truly can't wait to see how everything will unfold!
this demo was really fun!! while playing it, i was too focused on the puzzles to really process the tidbits of plot being revealed, but rewatching my gameplay has me curious about the small town and what's happening in it.
the art style is very unique! it made me feel like i was in a storybook setting, if that makes sense? and i loved how clear all the sound effects were! the puzzles being an "order of operations" kind of deal make them pretty easy to solve once you've got the hang of it, which i appreciated.
i'm looking forward to the full release and what story will unfold through solving more puzzles!! :] i recorded my gameplay below!
i loved playing this!! i stopped right when i was getting into the groove of things (and was often too forgetful of instructions ;;;), but i will definitely be returning again to redeem myself 💪🏾😤
the art style, the sound design (even though the night music raised goosebumps for me lol), and the game mechanics were all sooo good! i could definitely spend hours playing this ♡
i recorded my first gameplay below!
