Thanks for noticing the layout of the house! I spent at least 6 of the 10 hours I spent on this game working on the layout - I did wish I had more time to give it some character and life though. The game didn't actually get any darker as the game went on, but I'm glad the lighting communicated the time and mood I was going for!
