Thank you for the gameplay, really appreciated! :)

Thanks, I appreciate it:)

Thanks, I'm glad you appreciated it :)

Cool! Before playing I wondered how a tower defense could fit this theme, but when I played it it made perfect sense! :) Also I liked details such as intrusive thoughts in the background.

I regret playing... *blinks 2 times*

Nice concept!!

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, but what I did is actually intentional: the idea was to create a weird aesthetic that resembled some kind of simulation. I put some elements to represent a psychological scenario, as it was just in the mind of the protagonist.

Not to mention it has been done in 48 hours for a "lame jam", which allows (or even encourages, we could say) incompleteness of the games. Regarding the theme, intrusive thoughts is a pretty tough one. In my game you don't actually commit those actions, you just imagine them, and a text reflection  pops up. But I will add a warning about the content anyway just to be sure, since you tell me that :)

Thank you :)

Hi, what do you mean exactly? Why do you think so?

Thank you so much for the appreciation 🥹

Loved it

Cool concept, love the sound and the atmosphere! Took me a bit of time to discover that you jump with space with the ball, you could write it in the commands :))

Smooth and very challenging, wow!

Thank you😊

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Thank you for playing :) Oh yea, at the beginning my idea was to set a goal such as "Find all the creatures" and/or capture them in picture. But in the end I decided to leave total exploration freedom. :))

Very playable, and I love old Atari style games. You made me interested in try Pico-8!

Thank you! :)

No idea how and if I made it, but it's just such an interesting concept. I'd be very interested to understand better how the picture works and how you implemented it. :)

nope, you also set total number of rats and humans at the beginning :)  They don't spawn all together though

Happy to hear that, creating the night atmosphere was my main goal :)

Oh thank you! yes, I saw the text in white but I discovered it was kinda bugged, so it's actually dark. Now it should work better:)

thanks! oh, one ending is kinda hidden because it triggers when you kill everyone, but you have to do rats first and infected last or something like that. The other ending is when the counter you set in the menu passes, and the cure is found :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I used free assets just because I had a few hours to dedicate to this jam, and because the jam rules are permitting to use free assets :)

How do you avoid lasers at the beginning?

It's basically a description of a particular game.

Very cool concept with lots of potential :)

Very cool fitting soundtrack!!

Thanks :) You are probably right, there is one stealing action but it's not the main element. But during the development I was also thinking of a broader concept like the night  stealing away the toy, since you grow up (so it's like stealing your childhood).

Nope, as I wrote in the credits, it's open source art :) I now added the links, thanks for the clarification question.

Even though the jam theme was "theft" I didn't take it from others lol

As I wrote in the credits, it's open source art on freepik.com :) I improved it with lights and other elements.

Looks like a very realistic simulation of rats somehow, great!

Love the aesthetic

lol great lame idea

Funny, love the idea of fists coming from a rat

Great potential, and I love the free navigation over the board

Thank you :)
