Thanks for playing! I’m glad you liked it and posted a video about the game and yeah I agreed the game definitely could’ve used more enemy variety.

This game was a university project, where the focus was on the design and development of the levels, so we didn’t have much time to develop the enemies beyond what we were given. Hopefully in the future it can be worked on further to add in more enemy types.

Really appreciate your comments regarding the lighting in the levels, as it was my first time doing light baking for levels so I’m glad it was appreciated.

If you’re looking for a game similar to this with more enemy variety, I have this game called Soulsword you can check out: https://mark-auman.itch.io/soulsword

The art style is a little different, but has quite a few different enemies and bosses as well as a story.

Thanks again for playing!

Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks! I'm glad you two enjoyed it :)

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Thanks! Yeah not sure how to tackle the controls issue but something to think about after the jam is done :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! I was actually worried I didn’t have enough levels 😅

Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks!

Thanks!

Yeah I tried to make it so that the game could be played by one or two people, but it does lead to some awkwardness. Thanks for playing!

I see what you did there ;)

Thanks!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I agree, the characters movement could be a bit more snappy, something to think about for post-jam improvments :)

A really nice inversion on traditional platforming, the tether mechanic really makes it stand out! Nice work!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks

I’m glad you liked the story! Yeah the controls are the ones thing I’m a bit iffy about. I tried to make it so that you only ever need to control one character at one time, or if you do need to control two characters that you don’t need to use the mouse, but there may have been some parts of levels I missed. Not perfect but the best I could do in the time, so something to think about for improvements after the jam :) Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Sorry about the music, I was gonna include a volume slider and mute buttons but ran out of time. Have had a lot of feedback about the controls so I’ll try to find a way to improve that after the jam :) Thanks for playing!

Thanks for all the feedback! I’ll try to play your game today if I have time :)

Thanks, great to hear you passed the game!

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah I’ll see if there is a way to improve the reversal mechanic after the jam :)

I’m glad you liked it!

Thanks! That’s great to hear!

Thanks! That was one of the inspirations of the game :)

Thanks I’m glad you liked the music :)

Thanks! I’m glad you liked it!

Thanks!

Thanks!

All good, thanks for playing! Most of time you only need to control one character at a time while using the mouse so hopefully that helps :)

Thanks! Sorry about the issues with the audio 😅

Thanks! Glad to hear you had fun!
