Same problem. If I turn fog of war off and then reload it seems to allow me to see possible movement hexes and play but with fog of war on I cant play for the above mentioned reasons.
Is there any "multiplayer" element to this game currently? I would love to browse other's universes and would be much more inspired to create my own if there was.
