In the end, I didn't put them into the final version of my mod because they haven't worked porperly. It is impossible to make them work without editing the game's project file sadly.

You need to have the correct CPU level and year to unlock it, same as any other researches.

Are you ready to experience the Hardware Tycoon feeling as you played it the first time once again?

Introduction:

This mod completely overhauls the game with New packages, Clock speed researches, FAB researches, New competitor CPUs, New Images and much more!

In each package category ( DIP, PGA etc) there are three new package types. Each of these package types has their strengths and weaknesses and you can choose your path! ( By the way these package types are exist in real life )

Package Expansion Mod 1.0

This mod adds 80 new packages and 9  new types of packages and the mod covers the WHOLE game and you can completely ignore the orginal package research tree!

It works for me. The researches are under the PGA 418 near the Dual core research. You need to scroll down in the research menu.

Have you ever been thought about desinging and selling cpus with LGA package just like Intel and AMD nowadays? With this mod you can do it! The 1.2 version of my mod contains all of the released LGA packages from 2004 to 2022. ( Yep there is one package that will be released next year!) And the mod is compatible even with the 0.2.12 version of the Hardware Tycoon game!
