Yea the controls are a bit unfamiliar. Thats because the original idea for this game was based on a 2D game for Windows XP professional with similar game mechanics where the player moves around the enemy spawn point, but as the idea for this game evolved I should have really just made the controls move the ship left, right, up and down instead of making it control the rotation and distance from the center.
Yea, This game is unfinished. I wanted to add more robots to the second floor, and even have a third and fourth floor which would have basically been a type of maze made of shelves and large storage containers of but I was running out of time and couldn't fix a bug with the script that spawns the instances of the robots at certain locations which is why they are only on the ground floor.
The walls blending in too much is a problem caused by the lighting and the brick wall shader that I only noticed while play testing the game on the day it was due.
As for the crosshair, it is unnecessary as you don't need to point to the control panel to open it you just need to stand directly in front of it. I didn't want to design it like this tho. My original plan was that you could click on it using a crosshair from standing at any angle but couldn't implement it because of a technical issue i didn't know how to fix at the time. So I just made standing directly in front of it part of the story.
I might make a completed version of this game after the game jam voting period is complete and fix all these issues.
