Hi Dodotek, sent you a request on disc - have you found a team yet? I'm a developer and I found a music composer to work with so far, we still need an artist though!

Hi all,

I'm looking for some teammates for the 2022 Brackeys Game Jam. I've done a few game jams in the past, mostly using Unity. I have a couple years of professional software dev experience and I'm just looking to get more experience doing game jams! In the past I find myself spending too much time on art and sound, which I'm no expert at, so it would be great to team up with fellow game makers!

Reach out to me by replying here or messaging me on discord (matthatter419#7572)

Hi!

I'm an amateur game developer with a couple years of professional software development experience looking for teammates to do game jams with! I'm currently out of work, and trying to spend time making games to build up a portfolio.

Despite my best efforts, I'm not artist and not much of a musician either. I'm primarily looking for teammates to build art assets (3D models, shaders, music and sfx, etc.) for game jams. I'd also take help with game design, but that's a lesser priority for me.

Please respond to this thread if you're interested. You can also reach me on discord (), but I'm more likely to check back here first.

Hi Curtonius,

I'd like to hear more  your game / this opportunity! My portfolio on itch.io is small, but I have a few years professional experience as a software developer and I'm currently looking for a team to work (so I don't have to make my own art or music anymore :D).

You can reach me on discord  - matthatter419#7572, or reply with an email if that's better.

As the title says - can I recruit a friend to do artwork and music?

Thanks a lot!

Not that I know of - I recently wiped Chrome too because I installed an extension that turned out to be malware.  I've read some stuff online about it possibly being an OS issue. Might update and try again.

Lol thanks for the feedback. The tone that plays when you select a gem may be too frequent and monotone, but I like the tones that play when you get matches.

Thanks for the feedback! I totally get that, I have trouble with it too to be honest. Just ran out of time!

I'm playing with a trackpad so it's a little difficult... and I'm colorblind. But it was fun! Anyone reading this should give this game a chance; it's a has a bit of a learning curve but overall a fun game.

Hey all - if you want to play this in browser, see the WebGL version on my dashboard here: https://matthatter419.itch.io/jewel3d-webgl

For me it only works in Firefox for some reason, so that's why I didn't submit that version.

(Also the downloadable versions' graphics are better IMO.)

It does work in Firefox!

I can go try it in Firefox. I haven't had success with Chrome or Safari (I'm a Mac user, for what it's worth - it seems like this may in fact be a MacOS issue).

Hey, this game isn't working for me. I opened up the dev console and it seems the error has to do with UnityLoader being undefined. I encountered the same issue when trying to upload my game as WebGL, and ended up going with a Windows standalone build instead.

I'm really curious to solve the issue though, so if you find out a solution please let me know!
