I'm a little confounded, did you first compose a song, then slice it up and reverse it after the fact? The base track sounds lovely, but the sound effects and clipping in the halfway mark are a little jarring if I'm honest. However! I am very proud of you! I saw your message in the discord about the casting of the spell and the consequences of the spell and I find that a very creative way to tell a story :)

This submission stabs me directly in the soul, and I'm incredibly proud to have my name on it.

I will switch your left eyebrow with your right if you don't finish this one

Beefy!

It's like fighting a demonic wizard in DOOM!

I really like how the bells at the start sound almost like wind chimes, very fitting given the theme!

Alright, the thing I love most about this track are the heartbeat like drums that kick in near the drop, they make the whole thing really tense and actually pretty nerve wracking, nice job!

Oh my lord! May I ask what program you used for the strings? (Bonus points if you recorded them yourself :D) Don't tell the others, but this is in my opinion probably the strongest submission of the bunch! Really well done!

At first I was a little bit skeptical, but then 0:50 hit, and all my doubts were erased, I loved the way your melodic and chord progressions worked and your track has lots of variety in it's instruments and energy, great work!

Really? You made this in 2 hours on your phone!? That's incredible! I love it! Makes me think of a title theme for some sort of internet themed pirate movie (haha, pirates, internet, funny). You did really well on this one!

Haha, grave. Really well done! Love the tension that builds throughout the track, and some really beefy drops! Nice work!

Hell yeah! Short and sweet! I love the melodic progression you made, it's quite different from the other submissions, where this one feels more like a triumphant victory over a rebel ship or a tune that might play when you're just cruising the seven seas. Wonderful job!

This goes unbelievably hard! You're very good at melodic progressions, judging from your entry, there's tons of variety between verses, the drums are blazing, and it's quite long for such a dense composition! Awesome work!

Awesome work! I love the composition with the giants still being higher up than the knight, despite him standing on a mountain(?)

Outstanding use of a colour scheme and pretty fitting to the theme! Nice job!

What is "popping"?

There's only until monday to rate the wonderful entries we recieved! I've already listened to some of them, and I'm very proud of how nicely everyone composed their pieces!

I want to thank y'all  in advance for participating, you've made this jam better than i'd've ever hoped!

Hey! You! You joined MaxiMannor's Jammin' Jam, right? Well guess what, the submission period has started and the theme has been released! Head to the Jam's main page to check out the theme!
And for those of you who just stopped by, why not join in too? Of course, you don't have to, I'm a musician, not a cop.

Hey all-

Since I can't respond to you all individually I'll just make a post here, I want to thank you all for all the kind words you've sent me, I really appreciate your feedback!

I've listened to almost all of your tracks as well and I've gotta say, there's a lot of bangers this time 'round, an I'm exited to see how the results pan out!

 - Hugs and kisses, Max

Haha, thanks! I'm glad you  liked it, and though I did compose the piano part, I didn't actually play it myself, it was a plugin called Flex in FL studio.

And yeah, i did kinda have spamton on my mind while making pretty much everything, the track, the cover art, and even the backstory XD

(Also the part where he says "I'm sold" is something I had to record myself and it was crazy hard to keep my voice that low while still being audible haha)

Yooooo! That was awesome! I loved your use of samples, It definitely sold the kind of retro-bossfight feel, also the name "Breaden "Loaf" Eisenhaur" is genius XD

Thank you lots! <3

Aww, thank you! It really was a blast to make, and im glad you liked it that much

Thanks for your kind words! I had to rush the later part of the game a bit, but i hope it was enjoyable to play

What a wholesome little game! Despite the fact that the protagonist is in constant panic on account of having to run for his life from an endless stream of deadly virusses for all eternity,  i really liked it! It might not have the best assets, but im going to look past that. I love that you made a game that can be played "forever", since a lot of jam games are pretty linear, and can be finished in under 5 minutes (speaking from experience). You did a great job!

I had someone test the download since im still out of town and it seems to work for them, did you unzip the map properly?

Crap. I should have tested it, currently i'm not at my pc so i dont think i can fix it right now. I'll see what i can do once i get back

Ah, the start of something beautiful. I believe in you!

Ah good, im curious to see what its about!

Nice job guys! I love the music in this game, it was a bit hard to figure out what i was supposed to do but after a quik reading of the ol' description i got the hang of it. Very interesting story and an incredibly unique engine choice. Very good!

Very interesting concept! Are the 2d platforms randomly generated? Cause that takes some skill. I only wish that the camera could also move upwards and that there was some sort of indication on how to move between 2d and 3d. I also didn't really know what i was supposed to do in the 3d world, but it was fun to play none the less.

Very good! I love the way the character controls, camera is nice. It fits the theme quite well and it has a unique art style. Keep up the good work!

(Also maybe add a cover image so your game is more noticable)

Hey there, it seems you've uploaded your file incorrectly, what you need to do is: 1, go to the folder where your builds are stored (the map where you build your projects), 2, find the map that contains your game and all of the other maps associated with it, 3, select the map from step 2, right click and select "move to - compressed zipped folder", 4, on your game jam page, instead of uploading only the application, upload the zipped folder you just created, if you cant find it, its in the same map as your builds map. and that should do it! Please hurry though, since you only have about 25 minutes left.

Here's a youtube video explaining what i just said:

I love it! Very challenging, in a good way. The bossfight was a bit frustrating but overall the game was very fun to play. I love the colour scheme, you pull off some great aesthetics with very little colours. The character controlls very well and is very simplistic in design. Very good submission!

How can the top 10 winners get in touch to get a will you snail stram key?

I LOVE THIS!!!!!! Its so creative, i love seeing scratch games in jams, especially ones that are this complex (ive never seen a high score system before!). It definitely fits the theme in my opinion, keep it up! (btw, i got the high score!)

This is my game, i hope you can give it a try sometime! Even if its not on stream :)

I'll be sure to check yours out as well!

I love it! it might not have the best graphics, and its a tiny bit short, but you can tell that theres love put into this and thats what matters. I'd love to see you expand on this game!
