Should be fixed now.

I've uploaded the new version! 

I'm planning to  slowly update the game adding in all the ideas I had during the jam but didn't have time for.  

The character doesn't show it  in the game currently but it has a direction it's facing based on your last input so that could be the issue otherwise  it could be a issue with the interface scaling. What resolution did you play at?

At the start the seaweed is too big for the little mollusk so you should feed it the pearls instead. Did it do an eat animation for the seaweed?

Thanks for trying it!  I've fixed the bugs you mentioned and I will update the game once the game jam voting period is over.
