OMG what a good description!

You are meant to engage in the meaningless and repetitive task of administering eternal Sisyphean sticky justice to this police officer.

Yes!  A custom cursor would be great!

I love this.  Great use of pico8.  I have played a lot of pizza themed games and this is a very different take on delivery and ingredient management!

Thoroughly enjoyed this.  I like the pace of it.  Great characters too.

This is fantastic.  My only wish is that the cursor would not be visible so it wouldn't disrupt the look of the game!  I am very into the cyclopean sandwich sprites!

Love this.  My teammate and I discussed a similar idea.  Love the color palette, sound fx, and music too!  I played through the first level and a bit more and I definitely plan to come back to this one!

I was disappointed to not get to be ranked in weirdness!  That was our best category last year and we hoped to beat or meet our weirdness factor for this year!

I heard they stopped pushing updates out to all windows 10 users as of last night.

Beautiful.  Those owls in particular were gorgeous!  I love the take on "self destruct."

Super fun!  I would have liked to have the starting point be a bit more free of enemies so I have time to take a breath before starting the full force destruction.  I love the sprite for the player.  A sound effect for the enemies taking damage would be a nice addition.  I will definitely be coming back to play this more.

I can't seem to run this.  Nothing is happening when I am trying to run the executable.

This is great fun.  I wish the difficulty were scaffolded a bit more like if the bottom floor enemies moved slightly slower or took one fewer bombs to destroy.  I am going to have to come back to it.  I made it to that blue boss slime and then got destroyed so I need vengeance.

Yes, this legitimately has wormed its way into my memory of games I rented from the video store.  Sound effects and visuals and even the subject matter all just feels like an early nes game.  I like the time bonus.  The challenge level is good.  It is hard but the first level starts off just the right difficulty to get you used to it.  The start menu makes it feel so polished!

yes you can create custom palettes and export them and upload them.  It is not as easy as it should be though.

I also limited myself by only using one synth engine and 3 waveforms for all of the sound.

I was looking around to download this and then started making one but wasn't happy with the organization of it and just stopped since I didn't need the full palette for my game.  Does anyone else have a loadable palette file for GameMaker with the NES Colors?  If not, I might put that together later since I would like to have that regardless of this jam.

I limited to same screen size as well.  I don't remember if there were button constraints but I also limited myself that way.  Plan to add controller support post-jam.

This is awesome!  I love the flight dynamics and in particular the weird stiff bouncing when you land/crash.  I will be coming back to play more later!

Agree with Ty.  Game is fantastic.  The controls are just right to meet the challenge.  The lava particles might actually be my favorite part!  A level indicator would be nice so I can see what level I got to and rub it in my friends' faces.  Also, I can tell that if this game supported controllers I would get addicted.

Pretty fun concept.  Controls seem a bit wonky though.  Sometimes one of the buttons that is making you go forward also makes you go backward a little bit.  I love the art work.

I definitely want to see this further developed.  I love the sound effects and the art and the weirdness of the controls.  I could just sit around and push and pull donuts for quite a long time.

I am liking the art for this quite a bit and the way the blood particles drop and then collect.

Like the others said, the upward motion was way too fast to be able to tell what was going on.  I love that the score is how high you blast yourself in meters!

I found this oddly addictive.  Looking forward to trying to describe it to someone and seeing the look on their face.

Most of all, I enjoyed the art in this.  Great color palette and retro look.  I noticed in a previous comment someone saying they could see this developed further.  I second that.  Right now there is not much motivation to try to move quickly.  Maybe a count down timer?  A good song could really add to the mood and create some tension as well.  Great work!

Most fun I have ever had on a scooter!  The granny art is great!

LOVED THIS.  When my kids wake up we will have to play a round before school tomorrow!  What a strange and beautiful interpretation of the theme.  I wish there were more dance routines for more gameplay!  The visuals and song work well together to set a good mood.  Again...loved it.
